Modded PSX version on PSP

I recently did some basic modifications to the PSX version (sprite replacements, replacing a class, changing the power & range of some abilities, adding abilities to certain special characters, and applying some ASM hacks from FFTorgASM). The game runs fine on ePSXe, but fails to run properly as an EBOOT.pbp on my PSP. However, an unmodded version of the PSX game as an EBOOT.pbp (using the same exact technique) works normally.

Any ideas on what's going on?

Edit: Turns out that had something to do with the way I tried to replace unit.bin...

Anyways, now I get some glitches during battle (the text for exp/jp, status effect text, icons floating above head, the animation that Agrias uses right before Stasis Sword, etc.). Has anyone else had this type of problem, and if so, how did it get fixed (if applicable)?

Are you sure you didn't double patch at all? Double patching (patching on top of a patch) can cause a myriad of problems.

Not unless something like a text patch and a patch from FFTPatcher is considered "double patching". Started out with a clean .img file (ripped through CloneCD), then patched through FFTacText, then patched through FFTPatcher, then used FFTorgASM, then used Shishi's for sprite replacements. Oh, and CDmage combined with FFTEVGRP to change some images in unit.bin.

Surprisingly enough, most of the graphical errors that I mentioned ended up fixing themselves; now the main thing is sometimes I'll randomly get a big rectangle-glitch above certain characters and/or monsters , and depending on the character or monster, it only shows up when the camera is in front of or behind them. For example, it'll show up when the camera is in front of a humanoid target (party characters, enemy humans, enemy goblins, etc.), but it shows up when the camera is behind a bomb.

Also, there seems to be a strange echo effect to some of the sounds, but that's something that I can easily ignore (after having put up with the stupid FPS limitations on the PSP version for a while...).
