Is it possible to have new weapon/armor icons?
Lasting_Dawn could use those orbs for your materia.

If so...

I saw a post somewhere around here about the file that contains the weapon icons. Can't remember where though.

Edit: the file with the icons is ITEM.BIN

Those're from FFTA/2 weapons and armors just make them dull and darker then it's ok.
I saw some that are from FFT there though.

That's specifically the sheet from FFTA. FFTA2 shares some of these icons. LAZY SQUARE! No doughnut!

Yeah, they borrowed a lot from the FFT icons.

Hmm, Item.bin, I can try an experiment though, only if they are if thge same exact size, of course.

I think they are smaller by a pixel or 2.

Hmm, if they're not the same size, that creates a few problems, but I think I might be able to fit the souls over our bombs, at least.

Well, just take the bombs, put them on, reinsert, it should be that simple. Of course those things normally aren't...

=) Sorry, I mean how would the pixel difference matter? Is the file compressed?

Ah, no, not really... if the size is off, then you will see another weapon in the assigned "graphic box" for our current weapons, that's pretty much the reason.

These aren't usable then?

I'm sure they can be adapted.
Wish we had the FFTA2 set though. Sprites from that game are hard to come by. I really want the cockatrice very badly!

They're usable, if they are made just a pixel or two larger.

There's an active sprite ripping project.

Email him, figure how he gets the sprites and then tell us :)

No problem, I don't know if he's ripping the whole sprite sheets for his site.

But, it certainly looks like he knows how to.

I think his email is on his site.
Good Luck :D
