you could free up two more sprites by making ramza keep the same sprite thruought the game, this wasn't possible before, but now that eventchr is editable it can be done.

Damn. I hadn't thought of that. But, then you'd have to restrict him to just one skill set for the whole game? I might use this method to get 1 extra sprite, not 2.

yes but your extra skills could be blue magic that could only be learned in certain story battles, thus restricting the skillset untill say chapter 3 or 4
or whatever you wish.

you could even make a copy of knight sword skill that ramza could learn blue mage style, thus making that old dark knight rumor half true lol...

see i think ramza looks the best in chapter 2 and 3 so im gonna use that one. and just call his job Mercenary from the start, unless i can find a way to link 3 different jobs to that same sprite.

(i erased the temple knight skillset and assigned the oracle effects to them so that when i put in my custom swordskills in those files i have new ones like venom blade. and then the effects i assign the oracle spells just look like the temple knights skills instead once i reassign the effects there)

so there ya go, i have blue magic sworskills and you wont even know the difference, itll just be available when i assign modded versions of the dark sword skills to enemy gaffy in the last fight with him  or whatever, wherever i choose)

Basically I would need to Edit a sprite my self in a paint program to get one sprite to have the story animations of Ramza right?

I'm still working on the Firion sprite and some others on WoTL which is freezing my psp...For any one who has WoTL, must all sprites be 44KB?

sigh, okay so everything is jacked up.... the tutorial gives me all the info i need i guess, but i tested it on the princess frames and its all just empty space (well no ovelia is switching from a spellcast frame to a dead frame as the screen rotates in the intro lol....

I just noticed something...I'm working mainly with the PSP version of FFT, since the psx version plays out most of the scenes while the psp one has cg scenes. Would the psp version miss some of the story animations?

woo this would also clear Zalbag of being responsible for the death of ... well algus in this case... poor algus, he drew the short end of the stick somehow, even being rewritten as an innocent,  good guy he still bites the big one on the very same battlefield...
