Most everything looks good. Except those goblins, you have the shading off somehow.

Hell yes! The way you've done the goblins and Morbols there is really awesome. However, there really isn't a "black goblin" there. Also, you might want to differentiate between those first 2 trees a little more.

I'd definitely use most of these for my own game.

I like!

I have an alternate set for the 'ghost' enemies you might like. I'll post them in my monster thread soon. be on the look out. =)

Regarding the goblins, i was trying to go for faded green skin and worn out raggedy clothing. I not particuarly happy with the skin and may go back to the tan color have yet to see how it looks in game. If you are talking about the difference in color between the arms and face tho they just have sleaves now, which matches up with the artwork you see during the jobs&monsters video from the title screen.

Behemoths the 2nd tree and 3rd squidy are what i'm least happy with and looking for suggestions on.

If you want to change one of those trees, you could try dark green leaves or maybe red. Or you could change the trunk to a very pale yellowish colour like this:

Yeah that looks really awesome. Do you have any more concepts for the squid characters? I'd probably use your blue one, the current Mindflare but I'm not sure about your other 2 simply because I'd like to include one that has a lighter and more washed-out colour scheme. Don't really have any ideas of my own though.

I did one with brown friar robes but dident care for how it looked. I think ive playing around in FFXI too much again which is why im not happy with the behemoths either. The base sprites just dont look right after playing a ffxi or ffx where their heads are the size of your characters.

Cool. I'm planning something similar for them myself. I'm basing the new palettes on the original versions of Ahriman, Float-eye, and Plague.

Goblins look real good now. On the chocobos, I would recommend changing it so their beaks stay yellow. Though you might now be able to do that since these are just palette swaps.

the black behemuth does look nice just make the purple a little softer when blending with the black.

btw ghosts look awesome with perma transparent status on. just the ai doesnt know that they are there so u cant auto battle against them.

Mmm i'll have to look into that transparent ghost thing. sounds interesting. It's not a effect I have ever really played around with since as far as i know from using the old secret clothes all it does is make the AI not target you untill you take some action or it wears off.
