Let's make this a full on trend.

The western games market needs more good porn games. The vast majority that exist suck, being stupid shit like playing tic tac toe to reveal a picture. Gimme an RPG with sex scenes added on. Good ones.
For a less niche audience, I'd be interested in seeing a 2D game (in graphics and gameplay) made with the budget that those boring AAA shooters and crap get. You know, the ones that spend tens of thousands of dollars to get the correct muzzle flash. That sort of money poured into the visuals of something completely 2D would be intriguing.

How bout you?

Hmm, a Megaman game that compiles the entire original series (1-10) into one massive bonansa BUT all 80 robot masters are in one menu, Wily in the center of course. The weaknesses of the robot masters are reworked so some are weak to 2 or more attacks. And if your moves list is now 8 and you just defeated someone, you forget one move (Pokemon Style!). The Wily stages will still be 4, not a nightmare of 40 stage fortress XD

And yes I know the Anniversary Collection, but on this one, all the elements of ALL original Megaman are crammed into one game. And yes its in 8-bit form so 7 & 8 WILL adjust to match with the others. Slide and Charge Shot returns also.

(Megaman)

I have wanted this exact thing for years.

As for my thought on the topic...

...but not just a bland gender-swap where you're saving Link, so this picture may not necessarily reflect what I'm thinking about. Also, don't say thing one about that godawful CD-i game. ...either of them.

Zelda, commonly being the keeper of the Triforce of Wisdom as opposed to Link's Courage, would likely take a different approach to a world-spanning epic, employing less combat-oriented tactics and maybe more diplomatic approaches to problems. When things turn ugly, she has magic to fall back on primarily and when all else fails perhaps some lighter arms than a broadsword and shield. Maybe put a greater focus on puzzles and thinking rather than quick reflexes and combat though. Taking cues from Smash Bros. and the upcoming Hyrule Warriors, we've seen Zelda depicted as fighting with both Bow and Rapier so maybe something in that style. And of course I'm a bigger fan of the classic 2D games than the newer 3D titles, so I'd like to see something that played like Link to the Past more than say Ocarina of Time.

Rufio

Journey of the Five Ch.2

But seriously, I'd like to see an MMO with the "learn abilities from equipment" idea, a low level cap, a huge variation of character progression, and a heavy focus on team composition and skill selection.  So essentially I want FFIX, early RIFT, and Guild Wars to get together and make a video game baby.

TableTop Adventures Demo is out.
Try it out and let me know how to make it better.

Choto

I like that Rufio, and Celdia that's a kickass idea.

I'm still waiting for Diablo 2's successor. Many have tried and all have failed to capture the magic that was that game.

Angel

More 2D Castlevania. I don't want to see this series in 3D again. I want a new 2D Castlevania once a year, every year, until my hands are too tired and arthritic to hold a controller. And I mean sprite-based 2D; none of this shit with 3D character models and backgrounds on a 2D plane, because those always have shit physics. Always. Yes, always - don't you fucking lie to me. If you patronize those fake 2D games, you're part of the problem, not the solution.

</rant>

I'd like to see FFVI remade a la the FMV sequences produced for Final Fantasy Anthology. Narshe was freaking beautiful, and I kinda liked the Amano-esque character models. I honestly want this a lot more than a remake of VII.

I want the sequel to Skies of Arcadia that was promised.

I want Sega to put their Model 3 games on PSN/XBLA. And Naomi, Naomi 2, Chihiro (it's a freaking Xbox machine already), etc.

I want Squeenix to fund Chrono Resurrection, because that was every kind of badass ever. Follow Sega's example, you fools! Acquire and make profit, don't C&D and ruin all hopes and dreams! I swear they're trying to piss off their fans and go bankrupt, almost as much as Capcom... almost.

I want a new Chu Chu Rocket with a few thousand more co-op levels. Seriously, Xifanie and I never had more fun playing a game together.

I'm sure there are others I can think of, and some things may not even be sequels or remakes, but I'll get to that later.

Vaan

I want new final fantasy's that occur in ivalice (with vaan of course), that world is too perfect to die, besides tactics games (as much i want to see Tactics A3). Also i'd like more final fantasy's in the classic style, 2D guysa trying to save the world and crystals and stuff.

I want there to be a PS4 Legend of Dragoon sequel. Another game that would be awesome is another Shadow of Colossus style game, of course with top notch graphics and physics. The game needs to just throw you in and let you deal with things as they happen.

More shadow of the collosus-like games. :P

Also, simply, a game with as story-nice as FF7, but a gameplay as good as FF6?

I will respond in order.

Blood of Bahamut

I can relate to that FF6-7 fusion.

I find it funny that VI is cited as having good gameplay when it's arguably the buggiest in the series. Not that I don't love VI, because I do, but... I laughed.

FF6 was tuned a bit too easy but honestly did the ATB system very well. The coding was crap but the design was good.

Unlike for hobby games, designers and coders for professional games are different people (even back then). To use an analogy: it's not the architect's fault if the plumbing leaks. Not usually anyway.

I'd like several mechanics to enter RPG's:
1) Anatomical damage. No more hit points or some stupid bar that goes down. You get shot in the lung then the things that happen when someone gets shot in the lung versus shot in the abdomen or knee occur. There is all kinds of software in the medical community- lets tap into that!
2) Using number one, have separate and motivating rewards for capturing an opponent rather than killing it- like unlocking intelligence that leads to bonus missions or something. Its almost like there is this 'RPG player = violent maniac' stereotype going around. Shouldn't it be a choice how  you handle a foe?
3) Armor/shields that are actually like armor and shields. No more 'the less a woman wears the better protection she has' and 'this gives great protection despite all the gaping holes in the plates because it looks cool' (I'm talking to you Mass Effect 3).... oh and one of my favorites 'we can afford to put on an exoskeleton with mounted heavy cannons on but can't cover our faces'. How much is the most powerful weapon in the world worth? The three cents the bullet cost that shot the guy using it.
4) A Legend of Dragoon 2 would be epic

You might like Dwarf Fortress's adventure mode. Anatomical damage, procedurally generated NPCs/missions/towns/dungeons/etc, being able to recruit almost anyone as a follower, becoming a vampire for giggles, taking over hell, etc.

It uses ASCII graphics and a horrible interface though.

I apologize for not properly expressing my thoughts....I am aware of the translation.
I want SD3 to get a remake similar to that of Tactics Ogre on the PSP...retaining most of the content and expanding on it, 2D sprites are cool
turing into a werewolf is freakin awesome
