I'm very happy that this patch already is a subforum. :)
First of all, this is great because this was the thing that made me find this site,
coz I wanted to find some version that will include 'generic quotes', and somehow found it
in this site.

I find this patch very humbling. It has run a very constant course and is leading up to a nice concise ending. No frills just a common need being met by a few individuals. Thank you very much for putting this out. Now I am off to patch an ISO and nit pick the fuck out this thing.

I agree with Darth's sentiments; this has been a very impressive project that just chugged along at a steady pace and was completed by a group of dedicated folks. It's very cool and I am definitely going to use this as a base for ANY vanilla FFT playthroughs or challenges I may do in the future.

Major thanks to all involved!

I registered to this forum solely to give my appreciation. Thanks a lot for all the time put toward this project. I am very happy to have stumbled upon this.

Wow, thank you very much. Progress has slowed but we are still making progress though and I will give a bit of an update on it soon.

I've considered FF Tactics my favorite game ever since I played it in 1998. I'm brand new to the patched versions, but after playing through the opening battle I can tell you this: I'll never play the vanilla version ever again. This translation is an improvement in every way, and I can't thank you enough for bringing it to the PSX version of the game! My problem now is deciding between Complete v.50 and the 1.3 patch!

Do you have to choose?  You can do both can't you.

Oh, I didn't know that. I thought you have to apply both patches to clean ISOs, so once you patch it to FFC you can't patch it to 1.3 also. Is there a combined patch out there already?

It's safe, you spam filter is probably just high and it doesn't recognize the ppf format as being known.

So, this is spectacular.  I can honestly say I wouldn't have played much further through the game had I not found this.  The PSP versions slowdown was killing me, and the old script just didn't have what I wanted.  You guys have done great stuff here.

I want to show my appreciation properly here.  I'm a fifth year video game design major (RIT), and I'd like to contribute some time if you guys need any.  My email is electrical dot interference at gmail dot com.  I'm well versed in C, C++, C#, Java, Forth, Lisp, and a half-dozen other languages, and though I haven't done much work on the PSX specifically I want to help out.  Drop me a line if you need anything done.

Thanks Zeos. That is certainly an excellent offer. I will have to give this some thought.

Hmm, maybe this isn't the right place for this, but you should really help melonhead, me, and R999 out in releasing a complete version of 478.
EDIT: I sent you an e-mail.
