Help!! FFTA EDITOR doesnt work on Europe roms!

When I load the rom in the program, it appears "The rom you attempted to load was not a valid FFTA (US) Rom."

Can somebody help me? I want to edit some things but because of this Problem i can't. :L

The data may not be in the same locations in a European ROM. So even if Darthatron removed that limiter, odds are AIO would end up changing the wrong bytes entirely. Remember that all hacking tools have to operate by assuming the data is in a specific location in the ROM, so the only way to add European support would be to plug in all of the data locations for that ROM from scratch.

My advice would be to acquire the US version instead. Or spend countless hours piecing together the data to make your own tool, but that sounds like a lot of work compared to switching ROMs.

But i'm spanish and I feel comfortable reading the dialogues in my language, couldn't I use the US version with spanish dialogues? I would feel so happy

The US version doesn't have Spanish dialogue afaik. It would require someone porting an entire extra script into the game. Which takes a lot of effort and a lot of time. AIO isn't currently compatible with the EU version, so I'm afraid you'll have to choose between the unmodified EU game and hacking the US game. :/

The EU game is harder to hack because it has 5(?) different languages, so displaying text is hard.

So, how would I be able to change the sprite colour for my team? That's why i want to use this program, when i was kid i wished to had my team colours like someone of the enemies'.

I mean: . Change the sprite 0 (ally) to 1 (enemy) and Portrait E (ally) to F (enemy).

Im watching this post every day with the hope to get an answer D: Please... really doesn't anyone know how to change that? Noone has hacked this game? xD
