What about the Bios?  Should those get a complete overhaul?  I can't remember how many Bio3s there are but renaming them should be a topic of debate.

Cloud, as we are talking about Fire 3/Firaga I'd say that you were more likely  fired than tired.

Ahahaha

What a bad joke. :(

I just got up. >_>

Yeah, I suppose renaming them would be a good Idea... I remember always checking the AT list and pressing select on the bios to know the potential status effect. How annoying.

Btw there are 4 Bio, 3 Bio 2 & 4 Bio 3 IIRC.

I am in favor of updating FFT to current standards (where standards I mean anything comparable to other Final Fantasies-- no Argath, please!).

For what it's worth, the Bio's were all named Bio, Biora and Bioga in FFT:WotL as well, with no distinction.

Yeah, I like -ra -ga -ja better than numbers.  Just sounds more fancy :P

Algus = original translation, sounds good.
Argath = sounds horrible, not a better translation in any way.

I know what is is to translate Japanese, and what I have to say is that there are MANY ways to translate a name, but in the end what's important is that it sounds good in the language its translated to.

I thought I've already said that before, but I don't want another Aeris/Aerith.

Friggin', I hated the name Aerith whilst loving the name Aeris.

On the Bio topic, I'd say have the poison spells be the Bios, and come up with name for the others.

origionally i did not like the -ra, -ga, -ja thing im old school ff.
however, after getting used to it i think it sounds good. for one thing i think if you created a skillset that had some of the spells but not all of them it would be less tacky. each spell sounds more independent instead of just one ups from the spell that came before it.

i dont recall seeing bio like that....
maybe... Bio, Biora, Bioga lol that sounds kind of funny... but maybe thats better? you bring up a good point with bio tho, because im a completeness freak.. if bio was bio1, 2 3 id keep all the element spells as 1,2,3 as well...

the problem im faced with right now is... i know how to hex edit the names... but i dont know how to expand a name past its origional length without screwing up other text. at least not without alot of work
