I'm sorry people, I lack time to say exactly everything with details so my verdict will be VERY short, this is my "toplist":

#1-Artist: Dwib
Teioh as a Ghostbuster
Teioh (Hatless Thief) & Mustadio

Definitly my favourite, this surprised face on second frame is funny, and he fits the theme. Overall is nicely done, awesome sprite!

#2-Artist: Aquablack
Funeral Butler Dude as Business Casual Cthulhu
Squidraken, Funeral Butler Dude, Demon (human form)

I would choose other shades of green and changed coat a bit, but it's only me. This sprite is funny and fits the theme well, sprite is done well and I can't see some mistakes (only color)

#3-Artist: jimmyjw88
White Mage as Vampire
White Mage M + Orlandeau + Beowulf + Calculator F + Mediator M + Oracle M

His eyebrows are nicely done, his pale skin is also good , colors are  great, he fits theme very well, great job!
 
#4-Artist: Seushiro
Monk as Ifrit
Monk M + Belias + Custom

Another great sprite, his design is very cool. Hovewer he doesn't fits the theme IMO (I saw all the discussion about it, but still...). I would only arque about forward looking face, but oh well

#5-Artist: Cold 52
Meliadoul as Headless Horseman
Meliadoul + Balmafra + Generic Knight + Custom

Classic in Halloween, it is very nice IMO, fits theme perfectly. Overall looks clean and good.

#6-Artist: Dwib
Cuchulainn as Oogie Boogie
Queklain, Elidibs (human form)

I love those worms coming out of him, looks very nice. I like the idea.

Purple Mystery as Death
Purple Mystery

Grim Reapers are great, and this one is also nice, but he needs more work on his face. The scythe is perfect.

#8-Artist: Seushiro

Islude + Demon

Great sprite, it had potential, but his technical side isn't that nice. His face is really good.

#9- Artist: Sen
Black Mage as Scarecrow
Black Mage M

Good sprite, it fits theme very well. Overall looks great, I wish full spritesheet would be made.

#10-Artist: Zalge
Bomb as Pumpkin
Bomb

Pumpkins are another classics in Halloween. Hovewer this bomb doesn't resemble pumpkin that much IMO, the lines are a bit strange.

#11-Artist: PX_Timefordeath & Saigas
Ultima as Morrigan Aensland
Ultima (First Form)

Nice sprite, but you should add at least one or two greens to make hair look more awesome, other than that it's nice.

Generic Dragon as The Jersey Devil
Generic Dragoon, Various

Great idea, third frame FTW. Hovewer the first two frames are kinda strange, look good on both arms in each frame and you will see.

#13Artist: Bastard Poetry

This sprite is nothing special to me, it is only recolored and has some spots of red, it had potential, but oh well...

Nothing unusall, it's just a head swap.

Black Mage as Devil's Servant
Black Mage M + Skeleton

You worked hard to do this I suppose...

White Mage as Black Cat Witch

Nice recolor, the pot isn't looking that nice, but IMO it's the best of yours three sprites

-1st runner-up award goes to dwib, too, with his oogie boogie entry.
-2nd runner-up award goes to Aquablack with business squid.
-Sir Zodiac put up a CONTESTS page! (now I don't have to worry about the prizes)

I'm torn.  Submitting multiple doesn't exactly strike me as fair to the other contestants, but on the other hand, I don't want to discourage people from making as many awesome sprites as they can.

Should anything be done considering multiple submissions in the next contest?  Perhaps only the one ranked highest should count in the final rankings?

Hmm...maybe you could accept as many submissions as possible, then give each sprite scores and decide the winner (i.e. the submitter) based on the added point values of their two best submissions. Hell, you could just go by the point value of their single best submission, as opposed to two. That way dwib (or whoever) may have the two best sprites, but he only technically gets first place. Or is that what we already did?
