So, what first?

Hey people,
I tried this out a long time ago but my game was wrong.
Im getting a new game now, so Im giving it another shot.
So, my question is, what is the easiest thing I could do?

Use the main patcher program and just start experimenting.  Simplest is to modify the Job stat multipliers and growths (remember, multipliers are good high, growths good low) and the base power of abilities like Cure.  You'll learn most of what you can and can't do as you try out different stuff.  Just... stay away from messing with Lancer, Ninja, Mime, and Geomancer.  I hear Squire, Chemist, and Samurai can have issues too.

The easiest thing to "hack" would be sprites (not spriting, just hacking in different sprites), editing text, modifying stat growthes/skillsets, and changing the numbers used in spells. They all take about as little work to do with the appropriate tool
