QuoteI'm afraid of getting medication, because of what medication did to my dad and sister.  They are like borderline retarded, after taking drugs for schizophrenia and personality disorders for decades.  I'd rather be poor and alone but have my intellect intact, than be able to tolerate other people and lose the one thing - pretty much the only thing - I love in myself.

It's not only tolerating other people, it's also about other people tolerating you. As you have noticed, people with mental disorders are not the easiest te be around. The intellect might stay intact when not taking meds, but what use is it if you can't use your intellect for good? Taking meds or not - your choice, and certainly a difficult one. But it sounds like the least of your issues.

I might be a bit conservative in this, or just lucky, but I love family. If at all possible, please don't leave your family like this. Maybe your family has got it all wrong, or maybe they're right, but I would recommend trying to apologise, even if it is just to have a roof to sleep under. You're not  the only person I know that got kicked out of the house by their mom, and I'm hoping things will go as well with you as they did with him, or better. He did go back home, and it was just for a roof at first, and food, but nowadays I might see him home unexpected, because it's nice at home.
I do not expect things to go the same with you, seeing as the families are quite different. If anything, the advice I can give is twofold:
- Do not get angry if you talk with your sister, or other family. It would only make them think they're right in hating your guts. Be sorry instead. If they would hate your guts for that, nothing more you can try.
- Try talking to your sister if you can stay, for a determined period of time (1 month?). Then you both know it's not going to last, meaning it's easier to deal with. If you are serious about what you said earlier in here, you could pay her back by giving some of your stuff, but of course helping around the house too. In the meantime, you can look for a path to follow, a job, the re-enlisting, anything, really: a re-start if you will. With a clear deadline, you can't really do much else.

I wish you best of luck. If you happen to drive past the Netherlands, I will reserve a plate for you. I happen to be good at making pancakes with bacon.

It looks really nice all, but while reading, I noticed the Gray Ring: weak and resist vs. all elements. What's the use?

Doesn't the game frequently mirror the poses, so it does not really matter anyways?

If I'm right, then there are 8 elements, so 8 flags, for 8*7*6*5*4*3*2 combinations. That's a lot, and you can keep the option of something doing something to all elements and more if you make this a table of sorts, like this:

flags = element
1 = a
2 = b
3 = c
4 = d
5 = e
6 = f
7 = g
8 = h
1+2 = i (healing a for example)
1+3 = j
etc.

It's like assinging attributes!

Reactions from equipment and job, three supports, three accessories... no, wait, default weapons based on job FFX-2 style and five accessories, definitely that one.

Quotelast third of the game being completely non-linear,

Safe the first and last dungeon of this segment, it's completely optional! Just like FF6, come to think of it. That's why it's really enjoyable, it's adventure time! With good rewards, too. Only real guide-dang-it in FFV is Genji armour, and maybe Brave Blade/Chicken Knife.

I always see "weak vs" as the opposite of "half", and "weak vs" as a movement on the damage scale, where healing is negative, as a movement to the more positive. Then it seems to me thus:
- Weak vs damage means more damage
- Half an element means less damage
- Weak vs a healing spell means less healing
- Half a healing spell means more healing, but that goes against the view that halving an element makes that element less effective in whatever it does.
Now, Having a healing spell and an elemental weakness make the healing spell hurt 1x, and have a halving element half the heal is all fine and dandy, but I would sorely miss the potential of having a way of elemental play that increases the heals, as "absorb" multiplying the heal also seems silly.
After a little thoughtgiving I would think this the best idea, of seperating healing and damage completely. This could be done by having double the elements. This allows, I think, for the greatest flexibility. Just have the healing one of the duo be absorbed by everything as default.

The battle graphics enhancements are very nice, but in the field, I prefer my lego men. Detailed 3d on a 2d background fits even worse than crude 3d on 2d :c

I think this one, with a less highlighted beard, looks nice. without mustache is a good second, though.

The problem is, that Cloud has no chin. No nose is fine, no chin is weird. Make his face a bit fatter, his chin stick out more.

Or a job, the bm does not have a face either. Also, does he have a hunchback?

That would be the ability requirement hack.

I suck at shading, but I moved his left eye 1 pixel more than Lijj's version. I think it looks better still.

I do not see what's wrong with this, why you point out what organisation is funding this event, and why it sais that Perry has a plan, as he should be the first to say that he does not have a plan, and that that is exactly why they are praying. All in all bad journalism.

I remember them too, but not as good-looking. By the by, we do have a crusader sprite.
