loving second portrait zozma, the best i've seen so far
the third is missing a mouth completely which looks funny

so the portrait with the 3 is the least complete, i posted a more complete one above that + an enlarged version.

also, i dont think the monk arms are working out too well, id suggest using the female archer, arms or female theif arms minus the sleeves.

Wow Zozma, these are amazing ^^
Great job ^^
But if you want to use browns for her hair, then I think the sprite's hair colors should change too.
If not, there'll be some clashing.

Good job Zozma, those portraits look great.

As far as spriting suggestions go, I agree that the arms need to be replaced (female archer's will look good) and the hair should be changed to brown on the sprite, if possible.

Guys, I stated like a page or two ago that the sprites hair WILL be changed to brown. I have no intentions of keeping it black

Okay I have changed the sprite hair to brown but kept her arm warmer things and skirt black. I had to remove two colors for that; The Middle color for the shirt and the shine color for the hair. (Ugh I hate color limits >.<) But I think it turned out pretty decent. Do the colors look all right because I couldnt tell if the loss colors had any dramatic effect to the sprite.

does she have elbow pads on or something? they are really distracting

as i was saying, i think the monk arms are not the right choice. youll have to do more work editing with them as opposed to....

Archer arms
Thief arms
or even Dancer arms

Yea. Zozma is right.
The monks' arms just doesn't look right.
Makes her look like she's have robotic arms.

I kno, theyll be changed i just did some pallette editing and wanted to show you all. Also i am goin to darken the white colors to reduce the amount of distraction.

They are shoulder pads. Do you want me to get rid of them or make them smaller? FF7 Tifa has elbow pads so I wanted to include them in the sprite too.

id suggest simply not having them, sometimes its better to leave out certain details, especially when dealing with such a smaller scale version of the character

ok then ill leave them out. I only have the arms, attack animations and Damaged Animations left until the spritesheet is finished. Then Ill go into Shishi and cheack if the placements are correct.
Btw Tifa seems to be a pixel taller than most sprites.

Also, after this version is complete I'll be working on an AC version and no it will not be a Dancer rip off. I already have it planned out, Id be using Vlamafra or Thief skirt, Meliadoul Top layer of her dress, and this tifa's chest.

Yea, this is looking great, Miroshi.
And I agreed with the removal of the shoulder pad.
It's true that sometimes, certain details will make the sprite looks bit weird and funny.
Take my Kaze (made by KazeKasano, continued by me) sprite for example, I add some details for the scar(blue) on his face but it looks funny and weird.
Removing it makes it look better...alot better ^^
Anyway, you really did a great job here. Can't wait till this is done and start with AC Tifa, which I bet will definitely be alot better than that AC Tifa made by those japanese (which only recolored from Lede)

Tifa is extremely close to being completed...there are a few animations to finish and then the arms. I also worked on fixing the portrait the japanese gave her. One is the closest i could get and the second is slightly more edited.
