Why isn't the TVQ $7,50? That's because the TVQ is based on the original price tag PLUS the TPS.
TPS is federal
TVQ is provincial (unique to quebec)
well it was worse. Before Harper's reign, the TPS was at 7%, making us get a total cost of 115,025%.

But personally I don't think that's the worst of all... I hate our price tags. What I mean by that is that lowering the price of an article from anywhere to 95%-99,9999% is making fun of the consumer.
