FFTPatcher's ability names

Is there a version of FFTPatcher that uses the ability names of the original game instead of WotL? Or possibly some way I could just input it myself? It's daunting when I have to go comparing ability names all the time just to be sure I'm doing things right.

I know that you can edit the resources.zip included in the FFTP folder and rename the abilities to whatever
you like (this will only effect FFTP not the names in the game, use Tactext for that).

As for a version of FFTP with the PSX names, hopefully someone comes to answer it, since I've never messed
with abilities personally.

It's supposed to show you the PSX names if you use "New PSX patch" or load a PSX patch, and the PSP names otherwise. I remember having a problem with FFTP showing PSP names when I first started using it... but it never happens to me anymore. I don't remember what version I was even using then, either.
