Are the monster abilities listed just new hacker created spells/abilities or just more modern FFT names with the same effects.

New abilities, I'm finding on my latest run. This is a good thing especially if you like recruiting those monsters for your own party.

most of em are new abilities, but some of them are just renames (Shine Lover is now neither shiny nor lovely but still has the same effect)

Arch came up with the monster proposals for the most part while FFM proposed that Archer's got new abilites for their skillset because charge was useless in his opinion. Sadly though, he doesn't like the marksman skillset just like you do w/ the permanent brave loss ability. Speaking of which, I wonder if anyone's going to use that ability for S5? :D

i honestly don't know if that would be a good idea because who knows if allowing permanent brave lowering will be exactly fair to other players....yes it is rather effective but it'd be like allowing invitation from the mediator skill set in this tournament...i guess its up to everyone else who thinks mocking strike should or should not be allowed

I think it should be allowed as long as brave loss doesn't carry between fights. If it just does temporary brave loss, I can't imagine much resistance to it being allowed.
