arrow guard is the same as in vanilla

arrow guard is br% chance to block arrows

it was never 100%

Idea:

If you perform any large electrical ability (such as Bolt 3 or Ramuh) on any point on a large body of water (such as lake or moat), then the whole body of water electrifies on that turn.  This allows you or the enemy to harm each other in a realistic way (bolt 1 won't work because there won't be enough charge).

I agree it is a difficult encounter and the first true hard battle of 1.3

My issue is no mages who have 3 Squire levels (stupid me, of course AP wouldn't help the freakin' arrows), so no Arrow Guard on them, so they either get raped or Charmed or both (RNG cheating again...). I'm really just taking issue with the Thieves being so damn productive at offense at this stage, though I don't know what you could do to tone that down. I've beaten this battle easily in the beta, but this one is kicking my ass for some reason. Probably just shortsightedness.

I don't know, not being able to train is really boning me.

then dont bring in mages

bring knights + archers with item?

if your team is all knight + archer with agrias and gaf in their normal jobs you should be able to do it

make sure to bring in 1-2 archers though to get high ground on those fuckers

Hey, could I get the .fftpatch version of the update? I only see the ppf-o-matic version, and I want to be able to change some stuffs...I have ideas for when I play on what I want to change with the fftpatcher, but I can't as of right now. >.> Or am I being dumb?

use cd mage to extract the SCUS from your patched ISO, and open that with fftpatcher, make changes, and put it back in

I try edit some stuff... but in the ENTD.... i can't change anything... and the battles of the 1.3 version do not show here.... there's a bug in my program..?? or the battles can't be edited here....

Sorry for my dumbness...

I follow every step to export the scus file..... and all other stuf are show edited...

they are 4 different files apart from the SCUS

How can i edit then... in the FFTPatcher there's a option to load the 4 entd files...??

you're right you can only edit the entd with the fftpatch file

or by manually assembling the files into a fftpatch but I don't know how to do this

That's because when standing in 2h Deep Water, you can't act. Reactions like Arrow Guard won't work either.

Er, is the latest version 1.3020 or 1.3021? It says 1.3021 in the first post of this thread, and also 1.3020, and the file name and readme shows 1.3020.

1.3021 is the latest...
