i still read manga. . . but i rather dig deep in thoughts if itachi really killed his best friend (why does danzo have the right eye then). will Sasuke go blind and finally implant itachi's eyes that were stored. ..

I read back a few pages of the manga and am still thinking what Itachi gave Naruto as powers when the crow was stuffed in his mouth. . . I even think that is the reason why he lost the battle to Sasuke cuz chakra levels was down and he was blind. . .

 I wonder if what Madara even said was true about Itachi being a double spy or he his a lying bastard that just wants to use Sasuke. . .

yep even Naruto does not know ^__^. . . but passing your power by doing lightning fast jutsu seals and just tapping is beyond me. . . He gave Sasuke all his tricks with the tap of a forehead the hell!!!. . .

oh yeah the recent manga sucks. . . Sakura liking Naruto because he is now a big hero. . . geez! Kisamoto took a week of to research that. . . then Naruto being smart now instead of being happy he actually rejects her and grew up so not him (like seeing FFT ports with a nose so not ryt). . .

*edit: Oh yeah. . . Sasuke did'nt beat him in a fair game huh. . . it was his own eyes that killed him. . .

Yeah, big hero now. Some even suggest that he should be the next hokage after Tsunade, which is nice of them ^^

Yeah, not a fair fight. Itachi was almost blind and weak (came back from a mission and didn't rest, if I didn't remember it mistakenly), then immediately fight Sasuke and yet, Sasuke still lose. So, this tells us that if Itachi is not weak and blind, Sasuke doesn't stand a chance. BOO!!!!

well sakura never meant that she likes him for being a hero, even though that's what she said. she was trying to make up an excuse for him to stop chasing sasuke after realizing he wont come back.

in my opinion, itachi is possibly the strongest character in the series. the reason i think so is mainly because of his eye techniques. the susnano protects him from any damage, also being a way stronger version than the one sasuke could create. he also have that spirit sword that can seal anything away. and amaterasu which will burn everything it touches. he is almost unstoppable. and the fact that he was losing his sight and dying slowly proves even how much of a stronger person he was. these techniques added with the idea that itachi stealing sasuke's eyes would have made him even stronger than madara...
