Mercenaries Reorganization Effort!

Alright, I'll put it bluntly... this section is a mess! While I have everything I need, for the person just finding out about this project they are left in the dust, it is a bit of a shame but to find much information one must dig and things change consistently on the project.

Now disorganizatin is one of my larger faults, while I can find my way around my own messes many other people can't. What suggestions may you people have to clean up this secton a bit?

An index for each job thread, or a stickied thread for each job.  Each job thread should have all the information on the job in the first post (appearance (pic of the sprite or concept), stats (rankings should be fine if not numbers), job requirements, what they can equip, and their abilities with stats, descriptions, quotes, and maybe appearance) and should have a "Current Status" or "Development Status" section to keep the rest of us up to date on what still needs doing.

Confirmed sidequests should have a thread, but I suppose they already do.
Confirmed special characters (allies and enemies) have a thread, but the thread is extremely lacking in information.  It would be nice to have as detailed information for them as we do for the generics.
A thread dedicated to and listing changes to monsters would be quite nice as well.
The main info thread could use some updating and revising to make sure all its information is not only accurate but up to date as well.
The equipment thread could use stickying especially as it is one that players will want very easy access to without having to hunt it down.  It also desperately needs to be made into a table (or tables) so the numbers line up properly and are easier to read, and each weapon type could use an explanation of concept to describe just what it is and how it is meant to fight.

Better yet, an index thread linking to all final information/tables/whatever might be really nice.
Basically make the information available, up to date, specifying what is final and what isn't, and telling us where exactly the finalized information is.  A lack of information or a non-up-to-date first post in info threads are the main problems I see.

To me this makes the most sense, it'd be a sort of one-stop spot for all your need to know Mercenaries info. Though the real reason so many things are seemingly disorganized is probably because so many things are ever changing. Take the Sidequest topic, for instance; you have tens of people all proposing sidequests and various replies an discussions about those sidequests...so in the end you have your forty sidequests, but so many discussions that it'll be hard for anyone to follow.

So for an index topic to work, we first need to really organize the threads that will be indexed...

Agreed with Voldemort. I managed to find my way through this just fine, and I'm most certainly new. =D It's not too terrible, think more about cleaning it up once you release the actual patch.

Although it's extremely spread out, everything you need to know about is there. And I assume most can grasp the fact that those working on this project should be worrying about the final product more than some forums. Now I do agree advertisement is key, so a bit better organization would be a good idea. But don't go full force on it that you leave other things undone or left out.

Alright, back from Christmas/ New Years break, I'm sorry fellows, I probably should have made an announcement of that prior to taking the break, I've just been enjoying the new gadgets and the like I recieved for Christmas, therefore haven't done a lot of work... at all, also spending time with the family, which is what the season is mostly about. In any case I will be as attentive as I can to the project, with school coming up soon though things might slow down a bit, in any case I appreciate your continuing support and am glad to have as dedicated of a bunch as you fine fellows.

Just another small idea, putting the date of the most recent update in the thread titles helps people know how up to date the first posts are.

Well, I made the suggestion when I noticed you editing in that you had made updates but didn't include the date in the titles...  I remember looking at those threads in the past and never was sure just when the supposed update was from.
