Well currently I am interested in the Snes/PSX game of Chrono Trigger, Its just so captivating but there is also a hacking community for it too but anyways XD I was thinking of makeing Magus, whom is a mage with very strong magic but he just looks sick he will kind of look like Elmdore but a little "Younger" looking with a purple cloak.

Also I Have always been thinking of makeing a tonberry sprite based off of Simon Sort of , well i had attempted it but it was really confusing >_<

for magus' hair i bet you could borrow the hair from alma's "St. Ajora" sprite thats probably the perfect length

a toneberry would be great,
Saber? is that the girl with blonde hair? agria's sprite is probably the perfect template right?

Complete
     Warrior Female (Simple edit/recolor)

Current
Warrior Male (built on squire, with Delita 2's shoulders and Monk's hair.)
-With a little further modification he can be turned into Biggs from FF7 or Solid Snake even.

Future
     Lightening (FF XIII)
     Vanya (me)
     Zairee (my girl)
     Sniper M/F (new job)
     Red Mage (maybe)
     Blue Mage (maybe)
     Most Generic Jobs (minor edits)
Ramza 1, Delita 1, & Algus (I'm putting them into warrior costumes)
-I may use their old costumes for other things.
Ramza 2/3 (new palettes, getting pony tail back, removing lick of hair.)

Those are my plans. I was also thinking of making special sprites for Ladd, Alicia, and Lavian.

about karstens sprite, i hadnt seen you around in a while, take a look at the vk patch alpha release section. I actually started working on an alternate version of it as well.

no one planning on the elidibs sprite or whatever it was? in the eventchr.bin he has the 5 stopped directions..... one could probably paste his head over a black mage sprite?

I want to get a sprite of Serpentarius with the proper palette. Right now, this is what I have:

I don't recall ever having seen him in game before, so I have no idea what his proper palette color is...

Serpentarius is the last boss in the Deep Dungeon and the 'secret' Zodiac Monster of the game basically. You get the 13th Zodiac Stone from him and can learn the last summoner spell 'Zodiac' from him. There's guides on the internet about the Deep Dungeon and beating Serpentarius.

On that note, his palette is usually blueish/greenish with.. I don't remember seeing barely any red on him at all.

Use this link for all your sprite needs: http://istaken.org/fft/

It really should be a link off of the main page or something.

serpentareus sprite, the skin is like a human with a decent tan,
his hair is white, his bandanna is green and the snake is blue.

okay... with the completion of karsten its on to beatrix....

also has anyone thought about making the shopkeepers daughter into a workable sprite? i mean as you see her in the chapter 4 image?
if only i could get the summoner dress without the cape in the backside, it would be ideal, but i don't have the patience to do that right now...

Sounds like you have some interesting plans.

The Beatrix sprite looks great. I would just suggest adding some more color to her dress or belt in the back because right now her rear and rear-side views are just way to gray.

thats because i have not added the belt that holds the sheath of her sword i have to figure out how im going to make that fit in without making her sprite have too much junk on it. plus do a slight color reduction.

That should certainly do the trick. I can't remember much about the look of the character, but if you had the sword sheath go along the back of her waist it might look good (ninja sword style). But I don't think that would really match the look of the character.
