FFT Fanarts (post your own or any ones you've found!)
« on: May 08, 2009, 03:00:38 AM »
Most people who come on IRC know that I love most fan creations of FFT, whether it be fanart of fanfiction. Now I have a stockpiled large amount of pictures which I've gotten from all around the internet, Japanese and English sites alike, one thing I've noticed though, especiallly on the English side, they go very unappreciated. As it stands We are the de facto FFT Community, so I thought this thread a neccessity, now I would like you all to post your specific pictures or any ones you've made! (Please keep it PG-13... I know how you guys get...)

I've also invited a few members of DeviantArt to come join us here as artists, to show off their work. I would assume that attention here is much more uplifting then the lack of care most DeviantArt goers have for FFT, this is in turn strangling the creativity of most of them. I've seen some beautiful pictures, that only had 50-60 views. I think this would be the best place for these individuals to post them. I do hope you will comply and as always, feedback on these individual's works would be fantastic!

A pretty good point LD. At the very least I know we all appreciate artists as team members.

Long ago, I once found and took my favorite fft artworks from the gigantic shitload reserve found on photobucket.. By a single member.

Now I realized it was you who posted them. :p

Eh heh... it is one of my sparse hobbies, periodically once a month or so I go on an FFT Binge to see what I might have missed in the international world of FFT. If I weren't so pressed for time, I would have posted a few myself in the opening statement (anyone who's seen my PhotoBucket would find these familiar, of course that's not very... many people.) I'll be posting one or two each day, some you may enjoy, others... while I've been told I have a "peculiar" taste in art.

Starting off is everybody's favorite Arc Witch... or... Witch of the Coven, Balmafula.

Heh, I actually still remember that one, it stays very truthful to the style of the game, just perhaps a bit too chibi like on the Knight's face. Though I could have sworn I also saw one with an Ax being broken by an Arrow, perhaps?

Alright, well a day has passed so... picture no, 2!

Why oh why did Ramza not get put into Dissidia! Well, here's an artist rendition of what he and Altima would have looked like if they had made it into Disssidia.

Here's another one of my favorites, a dark end at Murond, with all hope given to his wish of returning alive to the surface with his sister. His dream was dashed as a scared goddess tried to secure more power, only concluding in a tragic end for all present. This picture represents the "Aftermath" very well.

Wow, very nice! A very realistic style which is extremely interesting considering the highly unrealistic style of the game, as you said I must admit that the Mustadio picture is the best one there. I feel it fits his character best. Also I get my FanArt from many, many different sources, though I think Aftermath is from Deviant Art, though I am most likely wrong.  In any case Fanart of the day is...
