PSP Sprites to PSX
« on: April 17, 2008, 12:30:16 AM »
I just recently inserted a working male dark knight sprite from the PSP War of the Lions into the PSX version of FFT.  The regular and attack animations all seemed to be fine.  Is this common knowledge or am I the only one trying this.  It could mean easily adding dark knight and onion knight to the current jobs replacing any you don't want.

Yeah it is common knolledge because actually the spritesheets are exactly the same so if you wanted any of the psp characters in your game you can have them !

what would be great is if the Mime could be used instead of cannibalizing one of the others.

Yeah, it is sort of annoying that we haven't found the code to rip the Mime job out and put in another. While the Mime is kind of a cool idea, it just seems neat if it were another class, and it seems right down silly when you slap all those crazy class requirements on it.

Only time I used a Mime was just to simply say I've unlocked the dang thing.

Same here. I used it exactly once, and found it very unpractical. And definitely not worth the trouble.

But... that'd make the game too easy.  :?
