I can't seem to figure it out, I got everything else down, I just don't know how to download the sprites.

If you are using the PSX version of the game and have an ISO on your computer, open up the ISO using ISOBuster ( http://www.isobuster.com/isobusterdownload.php ) and then navigate to the sprite files (notable with the .SPR extension) and right click on the one of your choice and click Import and then navigate to the .SPR file that you downloaded and import it into the ISO on top of the original sprite file.

If you are using the PSP version, I have no bloody clue.

For a list of which sprite files have what sprites, refer to this link: http://www.ffhacktics.com/spr.php

If you can't figure out using those above steps, reply below!  :] Have fun if it works, and that is basically all you need to do. (Although if the arms are flailing about it is because you overlapped a Type x with a Type y sprite (x being either 1 or 2 and y being either 2 or 1, which ever x isn't))

Did the tutorial on this not help you?

AuraDragon, you no longer need to do all that stuff, Shishi's has a function for direct patching now.
I refuse to play Final Fantasy Tactics again until I am able to do my FF6 patch! And, FFT 1.3 doesn't technically count as FFT: so there!

That's what I thought, but it just goes to a white screen with some black and white stuff at the top.

http://www.ffhacktics.com/sprites.php

Then just click on the sprites that you want, on the red underlined link and click save, to the folder you want.
Kindly upload the images to other image hosting sites. I can't view imageshack. Thanks.

Put your cursor over the link, look at the bottom of your browser, write down the URL, and manually type the fucking URL in. If it still doesn't work then it's too bad I guess.

I'm using firefox. "Save link as" confused me at first as well.

Your pictures are correct for Internet Explorer.

'Save Link As...', in this case would just download the .SPR file.

Exact same as "save target as." Just confusing wording.

It's more literal wording, not confusing at all, it saves a link and that's what it is called.

Alright I got it, thanks guys. I used  Internet explorer instead of Opera and did what Jimmy said and it worked. It never worked once in Opera (which I was using before) no matter what link I tried. Man I thought I was pretty pathetic for not knowing what to do, but i can blame it on my internet  ...
