FFTEVGRP (UNIT.BIN/WLDFACE.BIN editor)
« on: February 20, 2009, 09:17:07 AM »
FFTEVGRP
PSX, PSP
Author: Unknown
Version: Unknown

This tool allows you export/import Unit.Bin sprites as well as Menu Portraits.
It's only in japanese, however, it is very easy to figure out.
-------------------
Instructions
-------------------
Red Circle = Select file Wldface.bin or Unit.bin

Orange Circle = tab that switches between the wldface or unit menu
i guess you can have both open at once.

Yellow Circle = Palette. the only way there will be more than 1 palette is if they are monsters.

Light Blue Circle = Export displayed bmp

Dark Blue Circle = Export palette of displayed bmp

Light Green Circle = Import bmp (16 colors only)

Dark Green Circle = Import palette

Purple Circle = Save changes

The drop box, obviously changes which unit you are working on.

Please excuse the ignorance of this post, but I am very new to all of this. How do I go about exporting the bin, etc from the .iso file in order to edit?

This should be really helpful for creative patches, wherein the hacker chooses a different portrait and sprite for the formation screen.
Thanks to that program, it gave me an idea. :)

Is there any that is up to date? For example, I would like to replace Goltanna and Vormav with other Sprites I downloaded, and then add them to my team. But if I do this using only Shishi, Sprite is wrong in the formation and it shows as if it were the Ramza ... I do not know how to add a character without replacing some one that has in FFTEVGRP, because of this error
