It has been a while since I did any matches but I do plan on doing a rivalry series between myself and CT5Holy since he's one of my favorite opponents so far in Arena. At least at somepoint soon

If anyone else want to do a rivalry series with any of my teams its fine as well. I know that they are not up to par at the moment (busy with school and all) but I think it would be a good thing (even if I lose to someone) to see if any of my teams needs to be scrapped or updated.

My Tri-Absorb team is surprisingly competent but eventually it may need a overhaul because of initial damage output but at least the synergy is there

I should be able to do a rivalry series maybe once a week. Perhaps on every Thursday since I usually have more time to kill than normal. These rivalry series will have music as opposed to commentary very much like truelight's videos.  So im down to do it again

As for the team itself, I do doubt it can beat other teams that can resist if not absorb my elemental attacks so I don't expect to pull any more miracles like that ever again lol

I do hope that the next update to arena fixes the Death Sentence glitch with items that are only immune to dead but not death sentence. That was fine before 1.39. Because otherwise items like Gold Armor, Genji Shield and Angel Ring will might as well be get out of jail free cards if you get my monopoly

Yea I knew that there would be hiccups with my team but what I was going for is just enough speed to make the turn order in my favor. I'll fix my lancer like you suggested shintroy and hopefully make a team that is based on just having enough speed to sneak in better timed reflected spells

Overwhelm does more damage with jump than attack up because by calculation overwhelm does 20 percent more damage which includes abilities and magic. Jump being an ability gets the added damage. Attack up mean while only does more melee damage so lancers in that case do more damage with regular melee attacks than jump.

As for kimahri it is a mystery why jump is considered to be a overdrive but I guess to defend confusing thought process a bit, jump tends to always do extra damage after a delay, I.E. Kain from FF4. In that sense overdrives opt to do more damage than a regular attack so the developers must have thought that physical overdrives in general is the way to go like Tidus' Spiral Cut. For some reason I can't get the timing down anymore like I used to playing the ps2 version. But that aside I think they just wanted to do something different with jump

Haste can help lancers get to their turns quicker but the amount of ticks it takes to land the jump is the same. Yes jumps are CT based. Speed factors how many ticks it takes to land the jump. Sometimes haste can be used against you though because if the opponent is about to get a turn soon its likely the lancer will just attack regularly which can sometimes miss. If you really want to land jump, make sure that the opponent is significantly slower than you by either speed advantage, slow, don't move, sleep or stop spells.

Im going to work on my "World of Balance" team a bit more until I get the speed + reflect synergy I need. In the meantime if anyone wants me to do a match tomorrow then please pm me so I can start recording again
