Hi everyone. This is an absurd question, but can someone tell me what "0E1 Very Quick Bloody Strike" and "0E2 Very Quick Strike" do/show exactly? It could be because I'm burning the midnight oil away (or that my memory is really fuzzy) but I just can't seem to recall where in the game these effects are shown. I was thinking of using these effects for 25% extra attack on a weapon, but have no real clue what they are.

Also, are there any visual differences between "02B Summon Demon," "0C0 Summon Angel" and "1E6 Summon Ultimate"? I have a small understanding where they might be encoded (Archaeodaemon / Ultima Daemon / Altima "beaming" entrances), but it could definitely help me a great deal if someone can confirm that these are so.

And if there's a detailed list somewhere that describes what (and at which incidence) each effect is shown, that can cut my troubles half-fold. :)

I don't know about the first two, but summon Demon & angel (different palettes & SE) are to my knowledge never used at all. 1e6 Summon Ultima I think is used in the event where Ultima appears.

Didn't LD say that they aren't used ever and that he never saw any unwanted consequences of editing them?

Thanks guys!

I think I've read somewhere on the forums about a program called "FFT View" that helps to emulate a standard battle to test effects and other edits / ASM hacking. I was unsure whether such a program would be accurate or safe, though, but if so I would gladly test out 0E1, 0E2, and other "unknown" effects in my spare time.

FFT View can only look at the effect files. It doesn't let you see how they're animated.
Really the fastest way to see animations is just to use an emulator, FFTPatcher, a save right before a battle, and save states to test them out. Make sure to make new save states after each time you load your game and you won't have to worry about undoing your changes.
It also helps to give your test character 255 speed either innately or via an item.

LD, told me that for sure he had no problems when he changed Summon Demon or Summon Angel. He didn't mess with Teleport 3, though.
