Hi all,

So I'm loving FFT 1.3 so far and I have a sprites question. I was wondering if it was possible to change the male knight's color sprite within my party without changing the set used by the rest of the enemies in the game. If that's confusing here's an example.

I'm pretty sure the knights in your party use the Hokuten version of the sprite (white and blue - #1?) found here: http://www.ffhacktics.com/spr.php?id=KNIGHT_M

What if I wanted to have Lionel Knights in my party instead (#4)? If I changed the sprites around then I'm assuming it would change all the Hokuten knights in the game to #4 which isn't what I'm looking to do.

Is there anyway to do this? Or is it a lot of work just to satisfy my need for variety and customization? Thanks for the help.

Hokuten use palette #2.

You can change palette #1 of generic units without worry.

You mean Hokuten use #1 of that chart I posted the link to? So I can change #0 which is used for generics (aka the knights in my party)? Thanks for the help.

So I'm using Shishi's sprite manager and I export the palette I want (#5) out as a .bmp

Then I switch the palette I'm viewing to the first one (#1 - my generics) and try to import the .bmp and the program throws an exception error.

I'm totally new to this. Is this even how I want to go about changing the generics? Thanks for the help.
