Did you remember to check off the sprites you changed before you patched?

checked off, as in when you select to "patch iso with sprite..." then it ask you to check which sprites to patch then yes... But does this method have anything to do with editing the fftpack file manually or does it do it for you automatically?

Your... using the fftpack method?

boyohboy... Shishi, assuming you have the newest one like you said, has the ability to implement the sprites DIRECTLY into the ISO.

no, im not using the fftpack.... i just read different methods on how to do it, i am using the newest shishi editor, but it wont patch the iso with the new sprites... like i've said earlier, i followed the tutorial step by step, but after i patched it, it doesn't show up...

Dunno if it's possible on the psp, so I could be way off, but savestates won't show any changes if you're using those.

You can try putting the ISO back in the UMD. I can't think of any issues that would occur. Just make sure you have a backed up vanilla ISO, or your gonna be SCREWED,.
