I keep getting this error;

"Object reference not set to an instant of an object"

And then it closes the patching window.

I extracted clean data from an untainted ISO... When I patch the unedited clean text data onto my already patched ISO, It works perfectly fine, but when I edit even the slightest thing, and try to patch, I get that error.

What am I doing wrong? ):

Try ripping it as a bin file. That solved my problems. Haven't tried editing anything yet but the program can at least open the game.

0.o
Meaning if the file is img, then this problem will occur?

It's an ISO file, and I will try changing it to a bin and see what happens.

-EDIT-   ): I changed it to a bin, and to my displeasure, i still got the error. ><

But i don't think whether bin.file or img.file will matters right?
Or it will?
Hmm....So once you make some changes on text, the error pop outs?

Yeah, I don't get it, if there was something wrong with the program, it wouldn't let me patch at all, but it's only giving me the error when I've edited something, even the slightest thing. I changed the dancer's name to 'assassin' as a test with QuickEdit and it gave me the error.

Oh...i see. Hmm...What if you try not to edit with QuickEdit, see what will happen.
But i don't think by editing with QuickEdit is the cost of the problem; but try edit not from QuickEdit and see what will happen.

So your saying, instead of using my ripped version, I should 'download' a clean version?

Yea. Try download a clean version, then try with the text editor.
See if the same problem occurs. If it turns out fine, then it's clearly ISO problem.

-EDIT-  I HAVE SOME DAMN GOOD NEWS! It turns oout it wasn't an ISO or Program problem, the problem was that when I was editing, I edited every single one, and the ONLY thing that gives me the error is BOOT.BIN[29E334]...

Maybe I'm supposed to leave it?

If I were to change the names of a job, but leave BOOT.BIN[29E334] alone, will it ever show up somewhere as the original?

ex.  Dancer -> Assassin, would Dancer show up anywhere?

By the way, what does BOOT.BIN[29E334] do?

That's what I was wondering, if it's not a big deal, I can live with not being able to edit it.
