How difficult would it be to just remove the Beowulf quest?

The reason I ask is because I would like to just replace Reis, Holy Dragon, and Beowulf. Working on a mod where those spaces/jobs are needed and they don't really fit.

Perhaps I just go to ENDT: 14A in the FFTPatcher and turn it off somehow? That would be ideal.

I do have windhex. I've looked into a couple tutorials posted here and I can't make heads or tails of it. A tutorial link for noobs would be appreciated. Whichever you guys would recommend.

Also what other characters do you recommend replacing?

Balmafula, Meliadoul, Simon, etc.

I believe you should remove the rumor that starts the quest. Look into event editing.
