Looks good, so do you understand setting alternate colors will just be in Row 2, 3 etc? All you have to do is switch out the colors you want from the first row to whatever alternate colors you want. Let me know if you need a visual aid. 👍

Much easier to just duplicate the existing row a couplr times and then edit and play with the duplicates in palette editor (by Xif) to find alts that you like

I can't believe you all let me post that sprite of Terra! Having learned a lot of new stuff from doing the Fran sprite, I can see so many mistakes that I did with Terra. I don't know if anybody cares but I am going to be revamping her.

Well you didnt initially seem to accepting of critics in other things, so we kinda backed off

With the DK hack nearing completion (Choto hopes to have it finished this weekend) I wanted to go ahead and post a changelog that I've been working on in the (currently hidden) TLW section of this forum. Obviously once the DK hack is finished, we will need to do some extensive testing to make sure everything is working on console as it should, so it'll still be a little while yet, but we are definitely getting closer! :D

This post is to list all of the changes from vanilla that TLW makes.

SEE NEXT POST FOR CHANGLOG, DUE TO SIZE IT COULDN'T ALL FIT IN THIS ONE POST!

You are editing 8bpp color depth right ?

Thats a silly question. If all he did was export the sprite, cut out a piece and open it in GraphicsGale (which he did since you can see the palette) then of course he is...

The alternate colors are part of the same sheet... As Xif already stated above. They are the other rows...

View them with her tool PaletteEditor

Help! / Re: A little help with ARH 1.32

Well it happens a lot . Is really hard to find free ppl for bug report, and i really suck at debugging (even my own work) ...

Yet your work with FFT is amazing (i think i fall short), i don't think i can give this community anything worth.

Anyway I spent, still do, some time at the wiki over the CD Index, reading routines of battle.bin and scus there. Most is fine though there are some errors yet i didn't edit them, fearing that if you see a lot of anonymous activity you would have rolled back.

There is always plenty that you can contribute if you are dedicated to doing so. Many of the ASMers are no longer around as much as they used to be, except for Glain, and Xif and Glain shouldnt have to make everything on their own :P

If you are looking for something to do, I can always put you to work xD

Elric is, on his own, responsible for 95% of all the bug reports I've ever received for any tool, and only the tools he was personally using. Thanks best buddy.

You got it sis ;)

Help! / Re: Event Editing - Story/Goland Battle Gauntlet Advancement Issue
« on: September 28, 2018, 11:54:14 PM »
I fixed the link in that thread, should be working now

(I also updated the link in your post above this one)

The events have dummy data in them (below the text), but it shouldn't hurt anything, feel free to remove it, or don't

Yeah there is some outdated events in EVSP, you should check the old EVSP thread (IIRC) in which i uploaded a pack of fixed victory events there.

I know there was also similar issues in the beginning of the balk battle at the desert as well as the olan post battle event at goland.

If you run into any more issues, don't hesitate to ask questions. I'm pretty well versed in all things events lol

So, you are having issues with vanilla or your own custom battle series?

Battle series work by using variable 55 and setting it to the attack.out number of the event you are going to jump to (in the victory event) along with a callfunction command to make the save happen and setting attack.out to go to worldmap. You can read more about this here.

I think i need more clarification as to what you are trying to do exactly...

I'm not sure what Kokojo did to his image file, however when you patch a normal, clean image, the file ends up like 10-15 MBs bigger than it should, I had to remove a lot of bytes in a hex editor to get it to the proper size for shishi to be able to open it.

I extracted the sprites that were different in CoP from Vanilla, but some of them are derped, you should be able to find intact versions of those on the forums though.

Whoa, yeah there is definitely something up with the CoP image.

Try this, as im guessing its how he made it. Try to open a clean image in shishi and restructure it, and then patch the ppf to that image after that and see if you can open it in shishi then, though that might make the sprites derp.

Open the iso you patched to, in a hex editor and go to the last byte and change it to 1. Then save and try to open it in shishi.

Kokojo didnt make his patch properly and I had this issue in the past as well as i believe that is how i fixed it but i could be wrong. If you cant get it to work let me know and I'll see what i can dig up. I worked on CoP a bit with Kokojo so i have most of the CoP resources on one of my drives somewhere.
