Yeap. Yet another project from me. Well, this one should be finished in a couple of weeks due to it's simplicity.

I present to you the complete Eggerland / Adventures of Lolo series as a single huge GameMaker project.

Hi, all. I'm working on a platformer engine at the moment that is based on the physics of SMB1, SMB2j, & SMB3. The primary purpose of this is for me to eventually have a generic engine I can use to make pretty much any kind of platform based action game I desire for my company, but in the mean time I'm starting it out as a recreation of the original SMB with enhanced graphics, music & a compilation of all stages from SMB1, SMB2j & SMB Special.

To start things off here are some screens of the new graphics:

8-bit Stye Graphics

I allow for double the capabilities of the Game Boy Color

That mean up to 16 BG palettes and 16 sprite palettes at once

Still need to adjust the colors to match the GBC's 8-bit color depth

I'm also allowing for uo to 8 layered backgrounds

This is for you guys that play games on Facebook. I recently got my business license and am working on building my first game development studio. That said, my first target is social gaming on Facebook. I have some ideas for games I'd like to produce, but I'd like some general feedback on the state of FB gaming those that know about it.

1) What I'm looking for is info on likes and dislikes about FB games.

2) Also, the reasons why you either do or don't play FB games.

3) What you'd like to see happen with FB games.

Finally there's something more we can use to base some VH characters in FFT style off of.

Also, some graphics were ripped from some PC game called epitaph that might be useful for creating new spell effects in FFT:

LOL. Svensson says the fallout with the fans over MML3 is regrettable.

Well, it has a new title. And I'm integrating a pretty slick engine that was released on GM forums.
Trying to finish my rewrite of it by tomorrow so I can release a test demo.


PSX FFT Hacking / Another exploratory discussion: FFTA job progression.

What do you guys think of a hack that would overhaul the way jobs are unlocked?
Making it like FFTA/2 where jobs are unlocked based on the number of learned skills instead of by job level.
It would probably also be a gargantuan task, but the potential benefit would be the freeing up of the Job level bytes for use as something else.
Extra job slot(s) maybe?

Been taking things easy since my divorce. Working on my dream Castlevania game in GM. Getting a puzzle game ready for submission for possible publishing to iPhone. And lurking here from time to time. Looks like things have been happening on the ASM front. I'm happy to see the community expanding. ^___^

But now... I'm getting a divorce.

Is there a simple way (like one line of code) to make the [Weapon] in ability formulas load the correct weapon formula instead of the generic one that is automatically loaded? Or would this be a bigger hack that would require a table for the weapon formulas?
