Hey guys, I know this is a long shot, but I'm at the end of the line.

Does anyone have or know of a Noctis portrait? I have the sprite that was created a long while back, but it never had a portrait with it. I've searched from top to bottom on this site and the internet with no luck.

I started thinking about this too. I think some of the sprites like Sephiroth don't have different color palettes. I haven't dealt with changing palette colors so I don't know how easy it would be to add new ones to the sprite sheet.

Someone started working on a Locke sprite. It doesn't have a portrait though. There is a Terra and Strago sprite out their too.

Check out Seushiro's thread. He has some sprites like Paladin Cecil, Firion, and Squall.

There is a nice custom dragoon sprite somewhere in one of the topics. If you switch the colors, I think it would make a really good Kain.

I was thinking more of the lines of Darkvision spell from dungeons and dragons. I didn't necessarily have to be a movement ability. I just mentioned them because I knew there were a few not used. I can see where I made it sound a little confusing.

Don't mean to double post, but just thought of something.

How about taking one of the unused movement abilities and making an ability that when equipped lights up the deep dungeon.

I have a suggestion for monster recruitment.

You should only be able to recruit monsters in towns/cities around where those monsters usually appear.

Example: Cities/towns around Zeklaus Desert should only be able to recruit bombs/bull demons, Lake Poescas should only be able to recruit behemoths/undeads.

Also, when the deep dungeon is unlocked, then you should be able to recruit, Apandas, Ultima Demons, etc.

Did some research. You might find some of this useful.

Duma - Dumah the Angel of Silence
He is a prince of Hell, and angel of vindication. He is the Chief of demons charged with the punishment of the souls of sinners.

Zebbeb - Beel-Zebub Lord of the Flies

Rophochehe - Lucifuge Rofocale is the demon in charge of Hell's government.

Cherub and Leviathan are pretty self explanatory.

I can't find anything on Sel. It may be the Egyptian god of death Set that is being referred too.

They look awesome. I don't know if you are aware, but those names are based off of different demons in various lores. I have a book on demons and demonology if you would want some information or pictures on a particular demon that may help your spriting.

According to the background of the save screen, these are the names of the other Lucavi in FFT. Has anyone ever thought of creating them?

I believe I did. I copied the portrait from another file and put in on the sprite sheet. All the colors mach up though.

One more question. I added a portrait and all the colors and everything looks fine, but when I import it in shishi it shows up ass all black. There is a check box and when I uncheck it the portrait shows up. Can someone explain why that is happening? Thanks.

Thanks for the response. That's the same colors I was getting. If I'm understanding right, going from jpeg to bmp is part of the problem.

I was trying to change the lulu sprite to 8-bit color using graphics gale that is in this thread:

When it is converted the colors get messed up. I know it is probably using to many colors to convert to 8-bit, but I just wanted to see if anyone knows anyway to get around this. Thanks.

Im at the battle with zalmo. All attacks have a zero hit rate. Is this caused by the items I have equipped on him? Two of the items have shell attached to them. One perminent and the other a starting status.

I think the sprite sheet I had didn't have the normal post. I usually just make these for my little projects. I really didn't think to export out of shishi. lol
