Did I ruin everything?(PSP WOTL)

So I thought I'd edit some stuff in the game(mostly Luso's job) using FFTpatcher. Now I have no idea if I did that correctly, because supposedly you're supposed to do stuff with CWCHEAT or something like that, which I didn't do. I also edited some sprites with the shishi thing.

Now when I go to load my old save(I was in chapter 3), the game says "there is no saved data for this game"
When I browse through my PSP's folders, the save file is still there(in a folder called ULES00850FFT0000), but alas, the game will not recognize it. I downloaded a save from gamefaqs, and the game recognized that just fine.

Did I ruin my save file? Is there anything I can do to be able to load it again?
