You should just be able to run the program and then select the image file in the top box and the patch file in the one below it?

Are you saying that PPF-O-Matic isn't even opening on your PC??

you need to go to view--> palette and edit one of those colors in the top row

And the new episode of the Adventures of Kage and Twin is completely written out, i just need to make it and ive been working on PW and Jot5 stuff lately XD

Just wanted everyone to know there have been and will be some Story re-writes, none of what you may have seen in the videos will change, tho rather extended or modified
to not only fix some plot holes but to also make the mod in general a bit more full and fun to play.

While the story obviously won't be canon to FFT we will be trying as hard as we can to add to the FFT story. So i guess this would be considered a Fractured followup to FFT?

Either way, with Raven on the team we are quite a bit ahead of schedule and I'm confident enough in everything he is doing plus my own event editing skills and Durbs story
writing that we should have everything done before our scheduled release date but i won't make any promises yet.. In case i like, get hit by a bus or something.

There are also some fantastic sprite changes but I'm not going to spoil anything at all when it comes to that :D   (just didnt want Kage and Twin to feel left out here :P)

Haha, I'm always willing to answer questions :P

Effects can go into Blocks, but i wouldnt recommend it, since besides the fact that i believe it requires a special trigger, I know that if you do more then 1 effect at a time the game will freeze XD
But yes, i often use them at the very beginning of an event to setup my unitanimations like standing before the camera starts, as well as using them to erase any units that i would like to be invisible at the beginning of the event, this way you can be sure it's all taken care of before the camera even starts

Well I'm not saying it will work any better or that in some circumstances it has to be that way or anything, I'm just saying that in certain circumstances where you want several things to happen at once you can use blocks without to worry about what may be below that action interrupting or affecting the current action :D i will go into more detail when i get this part of the tutorial done in a few days :D

NOTE: Cameras and Messages cannot be put in blocks

okie dokie

What you would do is this

BlockStart()


BlockEnd()


anything inside of this block will happen at the same time as what comes after it

so say you want 3 people to walk at the same time instead of having the walk commands setup the way you do
you could do:

BlockStart()
Walkto:---
Waitwalk:---
BlockEnd()

BlockStart()
Walkto:---
Waitwalk:---
BlockEnd()

BlockStart()
Walkto:---
Waitwalk:---
BlockEnd()

and those three units that you setup to do that will all walk and then perform there next action inside the
block without being effected by the other walking characters.

Also there is a WaitForInstruction command to makes the game wait for a block to finish as well so you can setup all 3 of
these and then put that afterwords so that once everyone was done walking you could proceed but at the same time not
have the units walking or stopping effected by when another characters walking cycle ends  :mrgreen:

Hope this makes sense, i will cover it more in my next part of my tutorial :D

In the event instructions for ZERO/ADD/SUB etc etc

0x0000 - 0x002B

Are the same as the Maps listed in

0x0200 - 0x022B

The ones used in 0x0000 - 0x002B are used with 0x0031 to determine your Current Map location
(such as where your character's first worldmap position would be upon starting the game)

EXAMPLE:

ZERO(x0031)
ADD(x0031,x0003)


will put your character at Lionel Castle the next time you enter the worldmap


2) Another suggestion I have is the make it so we can have attachments in PM's. It's not a huge problem not to, it would just cut
down on having to upload a picture or zip file somewhere before being able to send it in a PM, I have heard quite a few people suggest
this as well.

EVSP 1.91 BUG
When trying to replace Ramza with {Ramza} using replace now! It doesnt work quite right, if i continue to hit the button it makes the same one gain more brackets example {{{Ramza}}}
Maybe you should add a Exact Phrase/Word Option?

In this example FFFFFF is used to make the screen go fade black  and 3C makes it happen after ~ 1.5 seconds or so

Updated all of Raven's new monster skillsets to the main thread today.
Be sure to take a look at them as well as the rest of the new skillsets,
RavenOfRazgriz has spent ALOT of time these last few days coming up
with all these awesome skillsets and we should all give him some serious
Props for his work thus far!

Hmm, do i smell another Episode of The Wacky Adventures Of Kage and Twin coming soon?
I think so  :mrgreen: and they may be meeting up with some other familiar faces as well :P
