I refuse to play Final Fantasy Tactics again until I am able to do my FF6 patch! And, FFT 1.3 doesn't technically count as FFT: so there!

Your ISO isnt the problem, the editor has a problem importing an ISO that isnt clean...as in you used the old text editor, or youve messed with fftpatcher. your best bet would be to start fresh, and then save a text file after you import it :3

Yea. Thats what i did and it works perfectly.
I edited my ISO V1.3026 text but when the latest version of fftactext released and they say better start with a fresh ISO, and so i did with a fresh ISO V1.3027 and everything works perfectly.
And this fftactext is alot better than the old version.
So.....yeah....better start with a fresh ISO. ^^

I'm doing something wrong, maybe one of you can figure it out..

1) I download the FFTacText program, extract, etc
2) I download an FFT Iso, which comes at FFT.rar
3) I rename FFT.rar to FFT.iso
4) I attempt to extract the ISO using FFTacText
5) I get this:  "Unhandled exception has occoured in your application. Id you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attemot to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Value does not fall within the expected range."

I click continue, nothing happens. Can someone provide insight?

A .rar file is an archive file used to compress data, you need to extract/unpack the data in-order to use it.

You can extract it using a program like WinRAR. FFTacText cannot extract data from a .rar file.

Yea. You can't just rename the file because like Cid said, it's a compressed data. So you'll need to extract them out to a folder.
Then, you'll get fft.iso / fft.img/ fft.bin or whatever the file format would be.
Then, use that fft iso on fftactext ^^
