I suppose the ideal would be for the Fur Shop hack to be completely bypassed if the unit doing the stealing is an ally. So it could be as simple as checking a value and branching if it matches. But then again, I don't know for sure.

Why don't you test the hack on a clean ISO and verify it's the one giving you problems and that you don't have another ASM hack conflicting with it? You've loaded ALMA and tons of other sizable ASM hacks in there, it's very easy for two or more of them to conflict in one way or another, and no one has reported this problem outside of FFT: Plus.

I've tested the hack on a clean vanilla Iso like Raven suggested The game does not crash if you press Square (Only happens in FFT: Plus for some reason, maybe because one of the ASM) but you cannot send specials if you don't have at least 1 generic in the party Edited the first post

Here is a super rough draft of the steal fix, it checks party ID (formation screen number) instead of ENTD flags. I haven't tested it at all so it may work perfectly or fail catastrophically. I'll test it next chance I get but if you play with it let me know how it behaves. thanks!
Disclaimer: may cause freezes, keep a backed-up ISO
Edit: Testing it now, it doesn't work FYI, i messed the code up a little bit, stand by :P

With Glain's help, here is "Stolen Items can be bought back in fur shop" v2.0. Tested ok for me, but let me know if there's any problems. This one behaves just like the old one, only with a check for attacker having charm and failing if so.

Awesome! Thanks a lot Choto, Pride & Glain! (And everyone else who suggested something/posted in the thread) This hacks should be added to the new Release of the patcher ;-)
