Title: Need help implementing Celdia's Patch :[
Post by: UMO on January 25, 2019, 12:30:59 am
Came across the patch on youtube and tried to install it, I patched (using fftpatch thingy) a PSP iso and a PSX bin file. Im running the emulators on my macbook currently using Open-emu. Neither of the files worked on the emulator. I then tried it on my PC and it said the file was corrupt. Looking for help to patch a copy to try it out. Thank you !

Unless FFTPatcher got a new option I wasn't aware of, you don't patch PPF files through it.

And as far as I know, CCP was never designed for the PSP version.

Nyzer's right on both counts.
I, too, am not aware of a PSP version of CCP ever being produced.

If one actually reads what's available on the Tools page (http://ffhacktics.com/wiki/Tools (http://ffhacktics.com/wiki/Tools)), the entry
QuotePPF-O-MATIC
> Apply a .ppf to your FFT Image to play a mod

seemed pretty straight-forward when I was learning to do this.

A word of warning: CCP implements pokeytax's massive abilities/attributes hack, which conflicts with many other things, and whose functionality is untouchable in FFTP.  Any further modding of the patched image is best done very carefully on a copy.
