Use of ePSXe before 2.0 is highly discouraged. Mednafen, RetroArch, and Duckstation are recommended for playing/testing, pSX is recommended for debugging.

When I patched the ppf file for final fantasy tacics it patched and everything. The patch I used was CCPv1.961 and when I open up Psx and started FFT from the .cue file the reader automatically goes to "read sector out of range" it tells the range and the max and proceeds to do that until god knows when. How can I fix this problem?

By not using pSX.

CCP does function a lot better in ePSXe. It likes to crash a lot in pSX for various reasons, most of which I haven't been able to duplicate to test and fix.
