Delita and Algus.... yeah I changed that to check something and had them have mime unlocked for testing but it shouldn't have stayed that way. Either way just keep playing like that and I'll fix that.

As for Ramza
you should be able to learn the dark knight moves after taking the crystal that gaffgarion leaves when you kill him.

Since everyone has innate defend, that picture of the chocobo is the chocobo defending.

well i tried a bunch of pops version and the issue continues. it happens in story battles with guest characters. the only thing is that it used to work fine before I started doing any specific hex editing. Anyway it works fine on my computer but compressed on the psp the issue doesn't seem to be getting fixed.

yeah Vagrant Story is a great game, it becomes complex with the armor and weapon system. I wish SE would make a sequel for it.

I seemed to have sort of fixed the issue with that character leaving your team in ch2 by switching the gaffy sprites, but I still haven't had time to look into making the damage/status appear once with the new ranged skills. I should have time this weekend to post an update though.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I've converted my psx patch version of FFT to a eboot to play it on my psp. The only thing is that story battles tend to slow down and then end up freezing, and it does that consistently.

I was wondering if anyone else that transferred a patched psx version to play on their psp ever had this issue. Coincidentally it only really seems to happy in story battles with guests.

Catastrophe sounds cool, I ended up using that name for a new Black Mage magic using the Cherry Blossom animation and getting rid of Cherry Blossom.

I just tested it and it doesn't work, I guess you just have to open up the file that has status effects (Battle.bin)? and find where jump, crystal, dead, and treasure are at, find what they have in common and copy that over transparent. And test of course.

I haven't tested it out yet but it was an idea I thought about because you can't attack someone that has been petrified so I figured checking off that box would work with transparent too.

to make it equal you can always make transparent ignore attacks, that way you can't attack on of their transparent units like the wouldn't be able to attack yours

I'm jealous now... I want your version of the patcher then.

I have .352 version which should be the latest version unless you have some special version.

my patcher doesn't have that checklist there, just the drop-down menu with shop availability. I'm starting to wonder if you anything else in your patcher that I don't currently have now.

Also when you make a change to an item, do previously "rare" and unattainable items in shops appear in shops now with your version of the patcher?

That item shop tab has been there for a long time but what I was saying is exactly what philsov reiterated. Only items that currently appear in shops can be changed to appear in other shops, but all other items need hex editing to appear in shops regularly.

When you guys mentioned that it could be changed I was wondering if the new patcher actually allowed that without the extra work.

I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that items that originally never appeared in shops wouldn't appear in shops without some hex editing.

At least that's how it used to be. Has that been changed with the updates to the patcher?

I actually like having undead able to keep reraising since it balances out the issue of killing undead so easily in the first place.

As for Cupid, I intentionally made it like that. It seemed less useful compared to the other moves without it.

close this topic since I know the answer from another topic.

Probably going to work on it this weekend but also wanted to mention that undead never turn into crystals or treasure and reraise randomly after being killed.

Well I never extended my iso but PSP version worked the same as the regular version when I messed around with it. By the way UMDGen works just as well as CDMage for extracting the fftpack.bin
