So I used FFT Patcher and made a patch, but whenever I use PPF-O-Matic to apply the patch it says "This file is no valid PPF file."

Any help would be greatly appreciated....or would it....

You should actually be using FFTpatcher to apply the patch to the ISO. Open your patch with FFTpatcher, then select PSX or PSP, then "Patch ISO"

^FFTpatcher does not make PPFs.

Ant: I know that I'm saying that ....

darthpaul: I also know that....Don't  you just change the ending? ex. .iso, .ppf, .sav

EDIT: Nevermind, I just realized that i was just loading a save state every time....You actually have to either load or New game.....

wtf?

you can't just change the ending

.ppf is a totally different type of format than .iso

changing the ending won't do shit

that's like trying to change a word .doc into a movie by changing the ending to .mov

Why are you trying to use ppf-o-matic anyway? FFTPatcher can patch your iso directly.

Voldemort: I was just saying that as an example....of course you can't do that....

Vanya: I don't know, I got that idea from somewhere....

I've had conversations like this when I've been either really drunk or really high. ^_^

I think he patched correctly, but didn't see the changes.
So he was unsure whether he had to make a ppf or not.
And concluded that load states won't show his changes.

Right? Right.

Possibly, but he is still hard to understand. Or he really doesn't know what he's doing. That's possible too.

...................I loaded it right, but I was always loading a save state, so it was acting like I never patched it....I've got it now....

Was I talking funny or something?

It's hard to pinpoint it, but it sounds similar to situations in which I'll start talking about something as if I had already explained the situation.

See, you assumed that we knew what you were talking about with your comments.  I do it too, so I can't really explain it well either, but whatever it is, something is missing.
I changed jobs and that has made all the difference.
