News:

Use of ePSXe before 2.0 is highly discouraged. Mednafen, RetroArch, and Duckstation are recommended for playing/testing, pSX is recommended for debugging.

Annnnnnd. Double post, but i feel it was important enough. Pride finished up the Worldmap just now and so tomorrow after work i will change all offsets to the new correct offsets, plus the setup events.

I will also import the new attack.out and conditions and start testing for bugs!

I just want to play the game, don't care about the TL;DR of it, I like Diablo, Diablo 2 and i will likely like Diablo 3 as well, if for nothing else then that fact that it's diablo

Well the events are essentially done, Pride is still working a few bugs out of a few things, then I will be testing chapter 1 completely from start to finish about 100 times or so, fixing anything i might seen wrong along the way.   At around this time I will pass everything off to Raven to implement all the abilities he made and a few other things. Once this is finished we will bug test a few more times, and if everything is okay then we will release.

I know it seems like a lot, but with as hard as i worked on the events and as hard as everyone else worked with writing, ASM's worldmap, attack.out, abilities, Sprites, EVTCHR and a bunch of other stuff. I really dont want to have to release a bunch of bugfixes a week after the mod is out.

But we all very much appreciate the patience of everyone here and promise that the wait will be justified :P

I'm not sure i understand what you mean. I know that a png can be saved as BMP witht he same results and a BMP is how you make a .SPR
all you gotta do is import the .bmp into shishi and then export it as SPR

what happens to them at time when you are forced out of having a party? Is there a way to make them selectable just like any other character when talking to Mathiu?

First off, Welcome to FFH! Where all your dreams come true if you work for it

Second, well done on the sprite, I'm not a spriter, So i can't give you much critic on it, but it's always nice to see
new people doing sprites and modding FFT :mrgreen:

Spriters will likely come around soon to let you know their thoughts on it.

Obviously needs some cleaning up since I'm no spriter, but I thought some people might enjoy seeing this:
(I converted this from a Pokemon DS game for a FFT Pokemon mod Pride and I have been discussing)

These are actually many of the exact things Pride and I discussed. The only difference being the Pokemon,
Since we obviously don't have the sprites for them, but there are also ways around this  :mrgreen:

AFAIK the palette hack works, since I use it in events to make 2 versions of the same non-generic sprite have different palettes, but if this is the
one I'm thinking of, it caused bugs when picking up the crystals/chests of the higher numbered palettes (6-8 ?)

Why should this be moved to spam? It wasn't spam to begin with.

The amount of work that that would require would take far longer then I'm willing to wait :P

As I said, if the conditions are done right you really wont be using more then a couple events that
would be recycled thru out battles as long as the monster ID's remain the same.

This is an interesting idea, and I intend to look more into it.
