Is it possible to edit World sprites and portraits 4 the psp

Ok, I already know how to edit the sprites by changing the world.bin and the battle.bin for the PSX.  Now I have just gotten the psp version and am wondering if it is possible to edit the world and formation sprites for the psp.  I have already looked around and usually find topics relating to the PSX version.  When I use magic I see a fftpack.bin (im assuming the files necessary to edit sprites is in there) and nothing else of great or relative interest.  So is it even possible at this point and time to edit the world and battle.bin on the psp.  Or can you only change battle sprites with ShiShi.
