Hello there. Could someone tell me if it's possible to put the Dorter thief (in chapter 2) in the party? It's the portrait I'm using for my avatar.
Thanks in advance! Also, is there a way to change the sprite that displays in your roster?

You would have to change the portrait of the normal thief and just make it the default for all the thieves. Alternatively you make the same sprite and make him a special character so that he always looked like that.

Wow, thanks for the speedy reply! I'll try and work it out. I was going through the list of unnamed characters to see if he was in there. I thought all the portraited characters would be in the list.
Cheers again.

Just to check -- is it possible to just change the portrait and not change the sprite? I mean, if I change an already-made squire to have that portrait, for example. Sorry if that's a stupid question.

Well the portraits and the sprites are the same file for battle sprites, but the only thing you need to change is the portrait. Do note that this trick will only work for in battle, for the formation screen you would have to change the portrait in WLDFACE I believe.

Oh and just to clarify the portrait you are talking about is activated by an event instruction and is located in EVTFACE. So there isn't actually a sprite that uses that portrait, just in that specific event that unit had an instruction replacing the normal portrait.

Ahhh, I see. Thank you so much for the explanation! It makes sense now.
Cheers.
