Final Fantasy Tactics, Legendary Character Sprites

I thought this might be a cool idea,

I was looking at the classes and i realised there is a character in the series for every class, so i went into the sprites and found one i thought might be easy *being my first try* and i think i made a decent re-make beta of Cecil the dark knight from FF4. I think i will do this for every class and just leave all the sprites available for anyone who wants them, and if anyone wants to help or thinks its a semi cool idea i would like your support thx!

The shades of colours could use a little work, they don't blend too well.

Yeah it is always hard to get the colors right. My suggestion is to find a sprite that has the colors you are looking for and then just use those. Otherwise it is hard to get the amount of shading right and have the contrast right so that the colors don't clash. Interesting idea though.

i went back and messed with it a bit, tried a different shade, and made 4 types to see what ya'll thought. First three are modeled after the sprite from FF2 last is after what the art looked like.

Well that is definitely an improvement. I feel like you need one more lighter shade of blue for the armor to add some highlights. The red and gold highlights, despite being small, still might need an additional shade to have them not stand out as much.

The small shoulder spikes on the left one look good, but I would like the ones on the right the best if you added a bit of shading to them.

Yeah I like the design on the left one. The shading is still a little flat though.
