You have a ton of videos, I must admit that I am pretty addicted to your 1.3 play through. I don't really have time to play video games currently, so instead I watch your play through while spriting.

I was thinking that maybe we should add a unit.bin sprite file, and a wldface.bin portrait sprite file to each custom sprite download on the main page.

It took a while, for me at least, to figure out how to set up each .bmp for unit and portrait to be imported into that japanese program, and my main issue was with keeping the palette the same.

Below I have the unit and portrait for the "Cloud (Advent Children)" custom sprite on the main page. Would it be possible to add it to the download for that sprite?

Yeah it's a good idea, but it's pretty easy to do, and you run the risk of retards uploading unit/portrait shots that are f'ked up.

Just an update the "Sephiroth" sprite in the custom sprites section is not working correctly. Animations from behind are off and it looks like half of the body is coming off.

It's working fine. You need to insert it as the correct type.

    I had it over H61.SPR which is a type 1 sprite of Gafgarion, and I had the issue. I just rechecked the animations in Shishi and it shows the same issue I mentioned.

    Hrm, Elmdor (which the sprite is obviously based off of) is type2. Try it with one of those.

    The real problem is that it's mislabeled.

    Yeah its mislabled as Type 1. Works fine over a Type 2 character.

    I second this. After browsing the forums on this subject for the past couple of days, it looks like there could be a dozen custom effects out there. It would definitely be nice to have them in one centralized location, and if there's a section dedicated to it, it might also inspire other people to make some of their own.

    Based on an idea mando had I tossed this together. Its the Flare animation using the Demi palette for a mostly-black Flare.

    Just a couple more quick animation edits, this time for E307 - Ice Bracelet / Breath. The first is a kind of white smoke with some rainbow lights in it. The second is just a pure green breath.

    This is is for raven~ all 3 of my dispose animation edits

    Lennart version has a lot of blue with some white.

    Holy Dispose has quite a bit of white, with some blue.

    Orange is mainly just an all around colorful version.
