I was looking at some of the sprites for breath of fire 3 and 4 and noticed some of them are similar to ones that are already in FFT. I was thinking how hard it would be to actually get something like this going considering Ryu's transform abilities are very similar to Reis abilities. I would like to get started with this but do not know where to begin. I can make maps,custom items and have some experience with abilities,but have very little knowledge editing sprites and animating them. I saw some of the tools and I'm going to try it out. Is there any advice or opinions on how I can do this? I'll leave event editing out until I have something presentable.

Thanks, I'm using Ganesha .75. I have not had the chance to test them ingame yet, haven't used the editor in a while and wanted to familiarize myself with the program again. I do plan on making more maps 👍.

Thank you 👍, that's exactly what I was going for. I wanted to add a third level but I don't think the game can handle that many polygons.

Thanks, I already created the items I want to add. I was asking because I saw all the new equipment from war of the lions in the psx version and thought there was a way to increase the number of item slots. I've noticed in FFTPatcher that when starting a new psp patch there are 20 blank item slots. Can these be used to add the items I have in mind or will using these slots cause an issue?

Is there a tutorial on how to add new items to the existing library without replacing or editing any of the vanilla inventory? I would like to add some new weapons and armor in addition to the ones added in War of the Lions.

I had a few questions to ask regarding FFT TWOTL for psp. I would like to make a few changes to the Vanilla version.
1. Would it be possible to make the Holy Knight Job unlockable the same way the Dark Knight job is only instead of mastering the black mage class switch it with the white mage? If so, can both jobs be made available to the player?

2. Can Elmdor's unseen maintenance be removed so his equipment can be stolen?

3. I saw a while back that Wiegraf and Gafgarion were made available after defeating them using eventing. Can this be done in the psp version?

4. Is it possible to give certain Knight swords and Katana like the Masamune and Ragnarok a range of 2?

5.Can Clouds Soldier skills be made to take effect instantly like the Holy Sword skills?

Another Update: I switched engines, what took me months to do in Gamemaker Studio took me a couple weeks to learn in Unity. Hopefully progress will continue.

Not much of an update, but I was able to add levels exported from Ganesha to GameMaker Studio using this tutorial and an extension called P3DC.

I've even managed to add 3d models and animations. The main obstacle is figuring out a turn based system for a 3d environment in GMS. I tried, but the only tutorials that seem to be out there are for 2d games.

Thanks, I really didn't have much wooden textures to work with so I thought the crates would suit the "slum" theme of the level. I was going to use the carpeted tile but it looked horrible combined with the wooden sides. Most definitely interested in helping out with Journey of the 5. Let me know where to start.
