Download a newer version  of tactext or wait for the new version.

You can get cdtool off the download section on the main page.

Pretty good, I usually check in every once in a while to see if anything new is going on, but I haven't posted in forever.  Mercenaries is looking pretty cool though, can't wait to play it when you get done.

Thanks, as I've said a demo should be released on Christmas Day, of course this demo won't have a lot and will include several battle savestates.

umm ok it says this:
there was an error loading cd-tool.lua, using built-in: Error opening file cd-tool.lua for reading: No such file or directory

From LUA: patching file /event/small.out;1
From LUA: patching file /world/snplmes.bin;1
From Lua: patching file /world/wldmes. bin;1

thats what it says but its funny the only thing i changed was like job names

I'm pretty sure it worked then, you don't have to have the lua file for it to work and it seems to have patched something. Did you try checking out your game to see if it did anything?

if you're a little more patient you'll get more on the log and the patch will go through.  Just walk away for a bit.

Edit: But no matter how hard I try my job wheel stuff always get fubar.  Sadface.

The answer is "just wait".  Then the text modifications should go through fine.  What other help are you needing?
