I thank you for that, fans have no idea of the awesome feels we get when seeing comments like this. I'm glad you were able to
get so much enjoyment out of our little patch :)  If you liked Chapter 1, you'll LOVE Chapter 2  (at least I sure hope so :P)

I'll go ahead and clarify on this here, since I haven't yet in this thread. (I'll update the OP too)

Some of you may already know this as I've mentioned it in another thread, but originally we setup Marks using Rumors.
However, this never really seemed right because there is no Yes/No option or anything in that. Pride has made a new
ASM for Jot5 to change how Propositions work, which will be the new Marks system.

The downfall is that due to this change, you will be required to play through Chapter 1 again upon the Chapter 2 release.
However to help makeup for this oversight we will be adding several more marks to Chapter 1 (3 I think?) We will also be
changing the JP formula a bit as this has been mentioned many times by fans as something that just made the game a bit
too hard.

We will also be changing the end battle of Chapter 1 and giving it some additional content due to fan request.

Um no? If its TYPE 2 change the slot you wanna insert it to to TYPE 2 in shishi (SEQ and SHP) same goes for TYPE1 and MON

It's a PNG. Use something like GraphicsGale to turn it into a BMP. Works fine for me.

So try putting the sprites back in via Shishi afterward?

Formation sprites and battle sprites aren't located in the same file, so after you've rebuilt the ISO
import the sprites again via Shishi and it should work fine.

It's not a matter of excitement Doku, its a matter of the fact that a lot of the people on the forum are to afraid to even
look in this section, as I am. Mostly due the the wizardry that goes on here and my lack of understanding any of it :P

You need to try again, this isn't really optional for patch making, if it didn't work, its cuz you didn't
read it word for word or missed a step. If you follow every step exactly as Celdia wrote it, you won't
have issues. Also, graphicsgale has a free version, so there is nothing from the tutorial that cannot
be easily acquired.

If it didn't work, keep trying until it does. Otherwise we are just giving you fish without teaching you
how to catch them, ya dig?

Did you change the SHP/SEQ TYPE?   You need to do that when changing sprites.

If you did, then the Lucavi might be hardcoded, I cannot remember if they are or not.

Well, that's really up to you, there is still plenty to enjoy currently, and realistically, we are still looking at a couple months before everything is
done and released. Of course the events are the biggest thing to hold chapters back, but we also are waiting on things like sprites and ASM hacks
as well.

Once these are done we then have to go through the bugtesting stage (which should take less time than Chapter 1 did, or at least i sure hope
so). I will try to update more frequently, however, I often find it hard to tear myself away from working on something to come and post here
telling everyone what is/isnt left, especially without spoiling anything :P

Thank you LastingDawn! Glad to hear you liked it so much. I'd be lying if I said I didn't get a lot of inspiration while reading through the
entire Mercs and CoP sections when I first joined FFH :P

Good news is a few things you mentioned will be address for the Ch2 release. I have yet to make an official announcement on the matter,
(I will do so shortly) however the fact of the matter is, due to the way we have restructured the Marks into actually using Propositions rather
than Rumors (thanks to Pride) so that there is a Yes/No option and whatnot, upon the Chapter 2 release, Chapter 1 will have to be played
through again.

This may upset some people and we have considered this, however it is in the best interest of the mod. That said, we will be adding some
things into Chapter 1 to make up for this. There will be at least 2 or 3 more marks added to Chapter 1, in addition to that, we will also be
changing the JP formula a bit to show that, Hey, we do listen to the fans after all.

That's not all though! I would normally not say this, since I would consider it a spoiler, (however since we are forcing people to replay Ch1
I see no harm in giving people some comfort in knowing there will be new content) but we are also going to change the end battle a bit.
The Dante killing Ganon scene will move to the Deleted scenes, and will be edited to instead have Ganondorf transform into Ganon where the
new final battle of Chapter 1 will take place.

I hope these additions will solve at least some of the issues people did have with Chapter 1, at the same time knowing that it is literally
impossible to make everyone happy. :P

Chapter 2 is getting the final touchs on eventing, literally less than 15 left at this point, then I will make the Chapter 1 adjustments, after
that ALL THE BUGTESTING will ensue again as we put together this giant puzzle of a mod.

Thank you again LastingDawn, it really does fill me with joy for someone as versed as you are in FFT to express such enthusiasm toward
something that isn't as canon as I know a lot of people who are very educated in FFT would have liked.

Pending the Results of the poll, I've come up with a bit of a change log.

Possible Future changes:
-Add more pistols. Hope to make these a viable endgame weapon at some point. Or at least something that will piss off players if a boss uses.

Too funny, I was just thinking yesterday how this thread has been dead for a while, (came up because Xif and Toshiko came up with an idea for a mark)

Gonna have to look into this further, perhaps there is 2 different versions floating around, because I get the same thing
Xifanie posted. I've never once had a cue file for anything I've loaded in pSX 1.13.

Use pSX 1.13 (aka PSXFin) instead of ePSXe. None of that wierd plugin stuff.
