How to resize VWF font?

Hey guys, I need help to change the size of the letters in the game of psp.

I put in 3F (hiragana 10 width ) the letter "á" (4 width)



I do modifications in hexeditor



Run the game and the letter maintained the size



I need a clue to leave the font with 4 width and not to be space among the letters.

Anyone help me?

There is a table of widths stored in 2 files (same data in both files):

• BATTLE.BIN - 0xFF0FC
• WORLD.BIN - 0x733E0

So find the location and edit the byte at offset 0x3F. The old value is 0x0A and the new value is 0x04.

With FFTpatcher you can change the size in graphic mode. After several test with hex editors, FFTPatcher is the best.

Monicapo, Rod traducciones? Is that you? With FFTpatcher I can only edit the letter, but the size is not recognized in PSP, then I have to do manually. Did you get chance size using FFTpatcher?

Yeah! But the old "ROD Traducciones" dead long time ago.

With FFTPatcher you can change a letter and the width. If you go to the FONT tab, p.e. you can go to letter 49 and you will see the width is 10, but a normal vocale is width = 4. Only you need is change this valor.
