Really? Well that was lucky XD but AI just wont use reflect if the opponent is at direct aim because basically the priorities of AI are 'kill all units' and rarely will the AI will be strategic but that is my thoughts! And Lydyn whats the tonberrys skills going to be?

Well, I'll make two versions in that case, because I hate reflect myself. It's one of the most annoying skills in my opinion ... so in the end, I'll upload two versions and people can just download if they want ranged attacks reflecable or not - since at least there's four people arguing to keep it.

As for the Tonberry skills, if you read above, I'm not sure yet. >.< There's definitely going to be a 999 damage skill and they already all have high PA growths.

Yeah reflect is kind of a waste seeing that if you at least have 6 move you can reach far with spells .

How's this sound? Also, there is no skill for 999 damage because at level 99, Tonberries either have 76, 86, or 99 PA.

... I'm going to lower the enemy's level now. I'm like 16 levels ahead of the enemy's and I'm just barely able to to fight them off. >.< Apparently increasing the Job Level requirements made them a bit too hard when stacked with higher levels.

Also edited Nagrarock;
Level: 4
WP: 0
Weapon Evade: 60%
Weapon Forumla: Dmg_(CasMaxHP-CasCurHP) 100% Cancel all positive Status effects.

I already said in an earlier post that the AI knows how to use Reflect.

:P

Yeah, I'm taking the original levels that normal FFT has and multiplying them by 1.1, so that Altima is level 72 instead of 66.

if you a max damage attack for tonberries why not use the lich mechanics

also, what a tonberries move rate? I think it should be either 2 becuase there known for taking awile to get to the party, or 6 to make them more deadly

one more thing what about everyones grudge

sorry I forgot to clarify why the lich machanic might be used, even though it wouldn't do max damage it would still on hit kill someone in one hit, or now that I think about it you could use a stop braclet style of attack

Lydyn

Yep, still not sure what you mean ... Lich couldn't ever kill someone in one hit and some monsters and certian items prevent 'Dead,' so it's best not to do the Stop Bracelet-type attack. ^^

I think that he means that Lich is kind of like Demi, where it it hits it can take a % of hp from the enemy. You can have the move that does max damage take 100% hp.

I actually like the reflect ranged attacks idea. I have seen the AI use Reflect, and they do it when it works best. There's no rationale for the AI not knowing how to use it argument.

We've sort of moved on from this ... we're done. If anything I'll make this version for you guys and the one with reflect on ranged attacks for all you. Personally, I don't find using reflect at all fun, it just annoys me ... and since the point was to make a crazy, but fun patch ... *Shrug*

Anyways, you all think it'd be fun for that, so I'll do it all for you and make my personal version.

As for the Lich attack, I'm content with lower level Tonberries not being able to kill you in one hit. I'll probably uncheck the Blade Grasp for it though, but it should still be somewhat avoidable I think.

very true tonberrys usually dont have a 100% hit rate and I cant wait to see it in action. Oh and I'm not a fan of reflect either.

Yeah me too. ^^ Just have to edit the ENTD files mostly and do text changes. I'll probably go ahead and let the sprites stay the same until they finish the one now, since Sen is having trouble. Forgot to mention you can't invite Tonberries.

People aren't talking about Reflect just because they like it. We think that it would fit the goals of the patch perfectly.

Patch is currently not "crazy" enough. It is merely "random". Red chocobo should be able to cast Non-Charge Meteor. Like, for-real Meteor. Not that gumdrop thing it currently has.

Wizard: Flare 2, Toad 2, Some Accumulate skill that add 5 MA

Time Mage: Galaxy Stop, Innate Short Charge, Innate Teleport

Oracle: Grand Cross

Ninja: 10 Move

Knight: Orlandu

Generic Squires: All-Ultima, Scream (can scream at allies), Accumulate adds 5 PA

Calc: Old Calc

Mediator: Invite MA+70. Lots of enemy Mediators

Crossbows can be two-sworded, so can guns, so can K swords and spears. In fact, everything can be.
